I don't know what's the bigger tragedy, the fact that Macho Man vs Terry Funk doesn't exist or that Butterbean vs King Kong Bundy doesn't exist.

Crazy to think that between these two men only one of them has had several wrestling matches in 2025 Say what you will about Butterbean when it comes to Wrestling, but man I love seeing him in the ring having Novelty matches.

I wasn't expecting the spit bucket to be full of water, so when Mero got doused with all that water from the bucket, I was howling with laughter

Well that was easily the best boxing match on a wrestling show I ever saw. I'm sad Butterbean didn't get that pro wrestling run he was angling for.

I just remembered that around i think 2011-2012ish, my high school brought Marc Mero to basically do his version of a d.a.r.e assembly. It was based. Idk know why but him with the buzzcut unlocked that memory from a crazy pit in my brain

This one is much funnier in retrospective. I probably would have hated this at the time because what is this boxing stuff doing in wrestling, etc. But with the context that neither of these people are going anywhere, this is just a dumb comedy bit and frankly, much better than the act the PPV is named after.

Fun fact this PPV's main event (HBK/Shamrock) is the last time a WWF PPV doesn't have Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker or Triple H in the main even until Rebellion 2002 (Lesnar and Heyman vs Edge) and if you don't count UK exclusives its Wrestlemania 19 with Angle/Lesnar.
