On this month's edition of SGH, we're taking it back to a movie that they said could NEVER BE DONE! It's Freddy Krueger, It's Jason Voorhees, and it's time to go to war. Freddy is trying to get back into everyone's dreams and thoughts, as they've all seemingly forgot about him. He's only as powerful as your mind let's him be, and the only way for him to remind everyone of who he is, is to invite Jason Voorhees over to Elm Street. But, as always, not everything goes according to plan...

I saw this movie in theaters as a kid and saw BIG OLE FAKE TIDDIES. Hell yeah, this movie rules.
This dumb bastard remembers jump rope for heart, but forgot the heart portion?! You were jump roping to raise money for heart research. It wasn’t “jump rope for my ceiling joint”
That was fucking awesome. I saw like 3/4 of this movie as a kid and hadn't seen it since. The next time you guys feel like watching a horror movie I think Hatchet would make a really fun SGH.

As I understand it, there was going to be a sequel that threw Ash Williams from Evil Dead into the mix (following up on an implication that Jason was a Deadite in Jason goes to Hell). However, things fell apart when a producer realized it would have to end in Ash winning and not Freddy. Eventually, this concept finally saw the light of day via a comic series. It... wasn't very good.

not a horror guy, this is the only slasher movie i think ive ever seen any bit of and remmeber cuz it was playing on, guess what, TV at my grandparents on halloween. the end scenery and first bedroom kill are all i know about either of these guys its unreal
The sequel to this was meant to include Ash Williams, but the execs didn't want Ash to win even tho it made the most sense. So they used the idea for 2 comic series

But 03 does sound a little too early for kse. Especially with like production time and shit I can't imagine they picked the credits music last second.
ACKTSCUKUALLY it's from the End Of Heartache album in 2003. Sounds early but 03 is when KSE was starting to gain mainstream traction and popularity likely because Howard's voice was so good for KSE. Nothing against Jesse, Howard is just on another level and really elevated the band.
