It’s the special WWF Saturday Night’s Main Event #3 Halloween Edition that aired on November 2nd, 1985. All the wrestlers are dressed up for a Halloween Party and there is even going to be a Halloween Party Competition.
In the first round we have a pie eating contest, followed by a pumpkin dunking contest, and finally in the third round there will be the pumpkin pass! Plus speaking of Halloween we get a special look inside the home of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and how he spends his Halloween! The Junkyard Dog takes on Terry Funk, Mr. Fuji battles Ricky Steamboat, Randy Savage and Tito Santana fight over the Intercontinental Title, and Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant team up against King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd. All the stars are here for the special Halloween Saturday Night’s Main Event!

You guys are 100% right about them having great chemistry and being on the road together nonstop. After the Raw that Bobby The Brain left for WCW Bobby got a banana as a joke and went to Gorilla Monsoon hotel room. When Gorilla opened the door Bobby said "I got you a banana you big dumb Gorilla." And they both broke down and cried for about an hour because of how they were so close and going to miss working. It really comes through on the shows.

Fun fact about that JYD vs Michael Hayes angle James mentioned: there was a shoe in New Orleans where JYD was in the audience while pretending to be blind. A fan comes up next to Dog, says “don’t worry, I’ve got him”, then PULLED A GUN AND AIMED AT MICHAEL HAYES. JYD was sitting there freaking the fuck out because he couldn’t break kayfabe and stop the guy lmao, security got to the dude before anything terrible could happen.

Also this show made me think Terry Funk vs Macho Man seems like a great feud and to my shock and surprise, I can't find any trace of a match between them online. Now I'm sad.
Ironically I didn't know Jimmy Hart ever managed Terry Funk until last night when I was watching OSW's Over the Top review. Perfect timing.
