DEADLOCK Watch This #252
In both of their first matches here in the WWF, we go back to 1997 where Taka Michinoku (or at least that's what I think his name is) takes on The Great Sasuke (pronounced however you want, really). Two legends of the game facing off for the first time on PPV is a pretty crazy deal looking back on it, and we wanted to see how this one goes!

Everything TAKA did in WWF when he was presented as a serious light heavyweight contender. Even the matches on RAW were fun.

Does anyone else have an issue where if they play the video normally it's like barely in the frame but if you go full screen or PIP it's fine?
Yeah I have no idea why it does that. My main theory is whatever they upload the videos on causes that to happen because videos on other patreons I'm in aren't like that

Taka beats Brian Christopher for the Light Heavyweight title on the December PPV if I remember correctly.
sasuke was being heavily pushed to win the tournament and become the inaugural Light Heavyweight Champion, but he apparently only wanted to defend the title in Japan and said he wouldn’t drop it on WWF television, so he was fired and his working agreement with them was terminated

Also the falling how between The WWF and sasuke and by proxy michinoku pro makes the LHW divison an intresting what if. As going the japanese junior route was probably the best way to differentiate from the more lucha heavy WCW Cruiserweight division.
