Flair was beat up by the New Blood on WCW Thunder last week and passed out as he was being carried out! The New Blood decides to make a mockery out of The Nature Boy by holding a funeral for him. Also, as it’s a new WCW all the matches are now under relaxed rules! The Cat fights Booker T in a Weapons Match, Mike Awesome battles The Wall in an Ambulance vs Table match, and Scott Steiner takes on his brother Rick Steiner in a Steel Asylum Match. Plus, Terry Funk is going to announce his retirement from pro wrestling.

Ric Flair burying Shane Douglas remains one of the few justified burials in pro wrestling history. So much go away heat. Shane was never good.
I’ll give Douglas credit, before all the injuries caught up to him in 95, he was pretty good. Unfortunately he only unlocked a personality after he lost most of his wrestling ability. Flair was totally justified as booker in keeping him in the tag scene, he was a great babyface getting his ass kicked before the hot tag.
