The 200th edition of TNA Wrestling Impact took place on July 30th, 2009! Bobby Lashley just came into the company and turned down the invitation to join the Main Event Mafia. At the top of the program, Mick Foley runs down the Main Event Mafia and claims they don’t care about anything but money and ratings. Tonight he challenges Kurt Angle to put his World Title & Kevin Nash to put his Legends Titles on the line in a tag team match. It’s Mick Foley & Bobby Lashley vs Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash in the main event. Also, Eric Young is the leader of the new group The World Elite. He says he’s tired of being the funny “HAHA” guy and shaves his head live on TV. AJ Styles and Matt Morgan start a Best of 3 Series with the winner getting a World Championship Match! Plus, Super Mex Hernandez makes it known that he wants to become TNA World Champion. And don’t forget, this is the infamous episode where Team 3D puts the IWGP Tag Team Titles on the line without the permission of New Japan Pro Wrestling. I love how they’re like “Is it good to give away the whole card like this?” As if they don’t also run a wrestling promotion lol I love it whenever they talk about stuff like this and like forget that they’re promoters too lol
Have the heels too focused on the ratings declining as they build their heat, only to see the ratings go up as the babyface makes the comeback. Do a shifty heel quick finish and have them eventually take credit for the ratings going up during their match. Steal the finish, steal the glory, the numbers don't lie.
That Eric head shaving thing reminds me of Kyle Fletcher recently. He looked fucked up in the ring doing it. BUT HE WAS LINING HIMSELF UP IN THE MIRROR CUTTING A PROMO AFTERWARDS. I'M NOTHING LIKE YOU OSPREY BZZZZZZZZZZ WHAT THE FUCK? heel Kyle Fletcher is kinda awesome though. I like the Don callus family Takeshtia Fletcher Cage Archer. The murder machines should beat the hurt syndicate for the tag belts. A few more squashes then like a feud over the no.1 contendership. At the next PPV and then H.S drops the titles to them at the next one after dynasty I think is next. But lance Archer the murder bird and Brian the mechanic cage are a cool team.... I miss danhausen. I'm still pissed those Halloween 3 commercial vignettes led to nothing. But he was still injured for like another month so just air thankskilling style vignettes idfk but put him on TV not on ROH.
This is either the best or 2nd best patron name segment. Idk I don’t watch. But I listen
