Revisiting TNA Wrestling iMPACT! 2010 Heel Jeff Hardy & Immortal | DEADLOCK Podcast (YouTube)

My 4 year old nephew has definitely said "where is cookie?" WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHOW. WHY DO I VAUGLY REMEMBER THIS SHIT???
Go home Raw Open Rollins segment went 48 2/3rd just trying to get a singles match with rock ON RAW 6 days before mania.... until a 6 man Judy bagwell (JD) v LWO that went 4... 1st hour commercial free too if an hour is 52 minutes. That should be a deaddie nominee. genuinely insulting. WWE should change it's name and take wrestling out it's name after that.
Sting AEW run and retirement match made the deadies for me. Only way that retirement is better is if he got lifted up to the rafters. Darby don't die on everest.
You could convince me that TNA Raven & this era Jeff were the same person. I remember when he came out with the cigarette & I was like “Oh shit Raven! Sweet!…wait a minute..”
Hardy was two years away from his prime according to him and I was wasting my time wondering with the flim flam on WWE
I started watching wrestling again in March of 2009 and I genuinely don’t know how the fuck I made it through all of this without checking out again
The commercial I always associate with this era of TNA was the Tower Door Gym ad that a full minute long and ran at least twice every episode. It included "Randy Couture's Mother of All Workouts" on DVD - a superlative I started assigning to everything (To this day, when I wake up after having a few too many I immediately think "Ugh I've got Randy Couture's Mother of All Hangovers.")
Also, Lacey Von Erich: Hello.
Watching this with no foreknowledge and a very limited tna knowledge, this is going to be amazing. Thank you in advance.
Also I think I speak for EVERYONE when I say "More TNA please"
I remember watching this episode. I had to be like 12 or 13. I switched inputs to play Smash while I waited for them to actually wrestle. Only to come back and see Tara lay down for a pin. If Styles, MCMG, or Tessmacher wasn’t on the screen I didn’t give a fuck from then on. Mofos made not like RVD that is insane
We need a ROH TV show review
This young kid Jeff Hardy could be the next big thing in a few years brother....or maybe not dude!
The used-up garbage was EV2.0
This episode took the piss from my eyes
Cookie and Robbie E had to break up so quick cus they shoot hated eachother lol
It's crazy to think that Jeff Hardy still could've been even bigger as a singles act both in TNA and WWE, even though he got pushed like a top guy already. He just kept messing it up for himself.
Shit from a butt
Thank you guys for being my number one source of TNA knowledge. Looking back on past TNA stuff is a blast.
I should've been talking to girls instead of watching Hogan era TNA
i hate da fact that dis was when i started watching TNA. idk wtf my 8 year old self was thinking
This is around the time I started watching TNA as well - except I was *25 years old.*
Ok, I'm adding "Blazed and Confused RVD" right next to "Fed up JR" on my list of favorite Deadlock bits. That shit had me rolling! Also, TONY! Hope all's well with you and the pizza fam TONY! All the best dude.
Oh hell yeah a shitty heel Jeff Hardy episode let’s gooooo
Shout out Tony, we love you
that Christopher Daniels Hogan joke hits different now that he's retired
woah this episode was on my birthday
Had to look up Murphy from Gunner & Murphy cause I forgot all about the dude... his shoot name is Michael Cole.
“oh hey what’s up beautiful people? where is cookie?” is so fucking funny i’m crying
MORE THEYS ARE COMING
more cookies are coming
Wow dude a ship full of friends? like a pirate ship? wow
I will die on the hill of Russo being a vastly superior creative mind to Bischoff. As bad as Russo can be, at least he wasn't obsessed with putting celebrities over the talent/company and he liked to give everyone on the card something to do (Would it be good? Who knows, but they're being booked). Russo creative is also usually fun to discuss, while Bischoff creative is usually infuriating.
Russo had bad ideas but at least they were ideas. Bischoff was just an asskisser who wanted to hang out with the cool kids
got to the end of the review and somehow the immortal promo is still happening
Honestly, heel Jeff was awesome, despite everything else sucking at this time. His look and theme ruled. Just unfortunate how it ended.
If Kronic and Bobby Roode ever teamed up they would of been called “Weed Money Inc”
Can't we just leave the past in the past?
So, I live next to Louisville, so I mean Indiana isn't such a bad idea. OVW still over there....
Manifesting the Beach Blast 92 SGH, love that fucking show
Ahh yes. I enjoyed heel Hardy. Let’s find out if that was just nostalgia talking
The garbage comment Flair made was about EV2.0 Fourtune Four had been feuding with them and when Dixie debuted EV Dub she called one of them (I think Sandman) the Hogan of the 90s. That's why Flair is saying she brought in used up garbage and compared it to Hogan.
It’s a little interesting, geopolitically, that even in 2010, there was a clearly identifiable “North” and “South” in the wrestling world. North being WWE and South being TNA. I mean look at the people on this show. An entire cohort of Southerners and/or current Trumpers. But I digress. This shit SUCKED!!! Though I kinda popped when Eric Young called Jwoww “Bow Wow” 🤣
"Gotta get rid of this playpen ring brother" FUCK
As much as TNA was fucking awful at this point, I do like Jeff’s “wrestling Antichrist” gimmick. Shame he was too fucked off drugs to actually keep it going, but I suppose that’s the story of his life at this point
Big ups to Tony 🙏🏿.
The boys are back in town YEAHHHH
Goodness how long was that opening promo man. Is that one of the longest ever
Opening promo was about 27.5 minutes. I watched the episode without ads and that was the runtime for me when I tapped on the player to check lol.
