Patreon Billing Update
Hey everyone!
This only effects new Patreon subscriptions, but just in case we figured we'd let you all know about this. On November 1st, Patreon is changing how they bill people that sign up for Patreon (not just ours, this is across the board). Now, when you sign up, you will be charged based on the day you sign up on, as opposed to how it is now where you get billed on the 1st of the month regardless. Meaning, if you sign up on November 12th, you'll be billed on December 12th for the next month.

Rumor has it that after a morning of sitting on his deck Toby went on down to the Patreon corporate offices, got a meeting with the board of directors, whipped out his Johnson, and said “Listen here you mutated freak fish! You’re gonna change how you bill people.” Which is pretty based. But once again this is just a rumor… or maybe it’s not dude!

It was fuckin crazy that someone who didn't read the checkout text clearly enough could sign up on the last day of a month, and then get billed again the very next day. Thanks for the update, fellas.

Some people were using this style already. Weird they only just forced it for everyone now
I think they may have introduced it as an option recently-ish, I know Secret Base already had theirs set like that because my Deadlock and SB payments would process on different days, Deadlock on the 1st and SB on the same day of the month I signed up.
Good, it was always dumb how you'd have to wait until the next month started to sign up to not get double billed.
