Oh man, I was at this show!! I was next to the Teddy Long skybox. He dapped me up and told me to stay in school. The only other thing I remember from this show is the cage match, and maybe that's a good thing.
Well did you or not
Johnny's Undertaker impression is the greatest ever.
I was definitely a Mr. Kennedy fan. Thought he was the next dude!
James, Fanboys rules! Such a funny movie! Fuck The Trekkies!!!
At this time in my life I was only watching Raw
I haven’t watched the new episode yet but just know that when I do I will skeewoah all over the place.
Easy in the seat means that the dude’s been piped the long way. Taker asking for $1400 to play Nintendogs has fucked my life up long term.
Teddy Long reminds me of my Father in law so much it’s crazy
Seeing the intro twice now makes sense to me since I watched a taped from VHS version rather than the Network. What a weird circumstance. Also seeing Linda TWICE talking about disaster relief was....well, I have things to say and they are all very mean. What a lousy show. (The wrestling show, not the podcast discussing the wrestling show lol) I was still deep in college doing anything else other than watching terrible wrestling, so 2005 is a mystery to me. Randy Orton is still an absolute nothing to me after all these years, no matter how much I'm told otherwise. He stinks and so does this version of The Undertaker. I support Jawnny's continued quest to bash anyone who likes this era, but also especially anyone who likes this era of Taker. Main eventer Bradshaw is still confusing to this day as well. They had NO ONE and it showed. Meanwhile, Cena gets to OVERCOME THE ODDS in handicap matches on the other show.
Anytime WWE crossed my radar in this era I'd be left thinking "That's still going, huh?" (And it only ever crossed my radar for the wrong reasons - Muhammad Hassan, etc.) I had only briefly kept up with wrestling at the height of the Monday Night Wars, and after the WCW purchase my thinking was essentially "Well, it's over; the whole business is cooked." I still refuse to believe that there was really a guy named "Heidenreich" who received significant screen time.
Tony Conkeldurr Guy with them big-ass concrete pillars holding up his deck. FOR REAL.
Hardcore Battle of the Ball-Lickers in that Michaels/Hogan WON story
Mostly I want to dream up a situation where Austin reads that blurb in the dirtsheets, then finds/beats the absolute shit out of Hogan in response. But I'm certain Stone Cold had/has better things to worry about then and even today.
"easy in the seat" means that Orlando Jordan has a loose asshole... or maybe not, dude...
I have a lot of nostalgia for this era but even as a kid I made sure to not talk about watching it at school lmaoo couldn’t risk the roasting
Have you seen Dom lately he is Eddie more than Rey
Immediately spit out everything I was drinking and eating after the hardcuck holly name read
Johnathan blud has to be the sickest FREAK on this podcast and honestly… I respect that fucker for that

if yall dont come to pasadena or houston again i WILL shit myself
I did like the main event on this show for a match that was almost completely worked safe, until the cowbell to the face. Still didn’t hold a candle to Eddie Vs. JBL in this match type. I wish Hangman Page would steal this gimmick match for himself. I don’t know if you’d steal the light gimmick, that looks like a bitch for the guy in charge of lighting to not botch. Didn’t care for Eddie Vs. Rey. Some people enjoy their feud from this time. But I couldn’t handle the slowness to the way Eddie worked his matches during this heel turn. Losing all the cheekiness he used to do was a bore. Jericho did this better later on, because he was essentially just doing Lance Storm’s in-sincere serious character, while Eddie was sincere serious.
When are you rapscallions gonna bring Dee Pee Dub to the Nation’s Capital
I just drizzied on my deck
Wait ... this isn't the Raw Bowl at all
