Hey, I'm sure if Shane Douglas asked today they'd make him NWA world champion. This episode really benefited from me watching it late while I was unable to sleep. Just this strange dreamlike nature throughout. And right after the announcement of EXTREME, that final vignette was way more effective than it had any right to be.
He should totally try to become NWA champion today just to swerve them and throw it down again

Not sure where else to suggest episodes for the pod but when you go back to the WWE land I’d recommend July 3rd 2006 RAW where DX takes over production, it’s some fun dumb shit. Anyway, look forward to this one!

I know that caining segment is one of the most memorable moments in ECW, but jesus that segment took forever. Woman saying "Dreeeeaamer" is gonna be in my nightmares.
I'd rather get caned ten times the long way than listen to Woman say anything after that
I fucking love having an excuse to go back and watch early ECW and the Deadlock Book Club provides such opportunities
