According to the observer from this week, Malenko lost feeling in his lower body after the kick to the back from Ultimo and pretty much collapsed backstage after the match. And it still ruled this hard. Crazy shit

Wow, this match kicked so much ass
For the record, Sonny and Eric were basically pitching ideas to different companies together before (and I think a bit after) Eric became head of WCW. Eric then asked Sonny to go with him to Japan, because he knew a bit of Japanese. Sonny thought they were going there to pitch new ideas. Instead he was face to face with VERY angry NJPW wrestlers and bookers because they felt WCW was misbooking their talents in the exchange.
I tell you what, we watch a lot of doo doo on here but that just makes the good shit seem like the best wrestling I’ve ever seen. This was awesome
