Listening to the boys workshop the NXT Iron Survivor match was lit.

i don't think i'll ever figure out what made TNA AJ the most compelling wrestler ever to me, but it's never been replicated or duplicated since. maybe he got the power of God & VPW2 on his side idk idk

I love how every episode where the match has an interesting stip James eventually starts thinking. "How do we do this but deadlock style?"

The more I see Monty Brown, the more I wish I watched TNA back in the day

This match was so fun, pure chaos and the spots were insane.

Monty Brown should have been the champion of every company.

I remember going to prowrestling.com (if anyone remembers that site you da real mvp) and kept hitting refresh because they’d update during the match as opposed to waiting until the match finished and then posting. I thought AJ was gonna win because why wouldn’t he, and then when I saw that Raven won I was like WTF! Looking back at Raven’s brief title run: it was fun and watching this match brings back so much nostalgia for wrestling in 2005.

I remember being pissed that X-Pac was going to be in this match because I didn't fuck with X-Pac at all back then. Now that I've seen the match I realize how wrong I was, lol.

The iron survivor challenge in nxt uses the penalty box but in an iron man setting Thought I should mention this considering the conversation you had about the ladder being used with the penalty box concept

4 of the dudes in this match are my guys and I love that raven won the belt but man money should,of won the belt either here or at final resolution

I saw this every time when it comes to TNA, I watched, but I was never invested in it, but Monty Brown was a beast. I probably would've been more invested if they made him the top guy(Fck you Christian). Also, Monty Brown still has the only good Pounce in wrestling, Human Tornado's was solid, eveeryone else's is trash.

The match type is goofy but I think it works. Maybe it would be less goofy if it was just a ladder match with the penalty box? The hooking the title up thing is weird to me. I like that Monty Brown didn't do much but when he did do things he was killing dudes. He was the first person to get a pin AND the second. Abyss being a monster and trying to break the box ruled. AJ went crazy and the two others did their job. I like that one guy can shine at scoring falls and putting others in the penalty box but at the same time be out done by the speed of another and that's why he lost. Or having someone outsmart someone, like if Waltman pinned Abyss after having AJ do the crazy move. AJ took the damage to take out a threat in Abyss, the threat, Abyss, is now gone for a bit, and Waltman is now eligible to hang up the title. It can work if you look past the goofiness, which is kinda hard.
