where the FR*CK is the episode I'm a distinguished 1 dollar tier patron and I will NOT take this HECKING awful treatment
DX v Nation in War Games in 1998 would have been hot as hell
As I finish that episode, mostly I think it was a lot of empty calories. Some moments, but a lot of nothing. Matches that didn't mean much. Lots of quickfire stuff. And after that final segment, most of it just left my memory immediately. Sometimes I ponder if we should judge our former selves for really loving this stuff. Perhaps we didn't know any better.
Marc meros tan was fucking insane
A match between two heels no one cares about where one heel has the visible pin with a distraction finish before another person comes out for a distraction finish of their own. Attitude Era!
Al Snow segment = +10 moment of the night
Paul Bearer watching Raw eating chips with beverage is me
Edge explaining what happened in his debut is hilarious lol
I didn’t realize Edge’s debut was the same match that he broke Jose Estradas’ neck.
new drinking game: take a shot everytime commentary explain what a first blood match is or everytime they mention kane will set himself on fire
It’s crazy how little they gave a fuck about tv matches back then. The rock beat H with a perfect plex in 4 minutes lmao
young mark henry vs 4x4 at DPW Live 6 make it happen
Before the Kane match Old Tech alert: large ass cell phone and disposable camera
As part of the DPW Book Club my wife and I are watching the rock come down and she says “wtf does he have on, he looks like he’s headed to a bbq, he’s dead wrong for this.”
I thought the exact same thing😂 Dude was dressed like he was about to ask what’s in the potato salad
I HAAVE BURNT BAAAALLS.
I swear it looks like Kane is sucking on a vibrator when he’s being consolidated by Mankind.
I start to think the WWF/WWE did not understood what made Al so popular in ECW. Also that Merosault is a thing of beauty.
Is the ring smaller than usual?
I’m expecting the discussion of the super soaker ad to go 20 minutes.
Kane speaking for the first time was maybe my earliest WWF memory from my childhood, Awesome!
that fucking Al Snow segment was brutal
No fucking way it's the voice box debut for Kane sounding like Ned from south park
"Did you think I'd forgotten where you live?" Mmmmm... that's pretty badass right there.
