Dev Diary 118
Coming at you with the first developer diary of dun dun dun Chapter 5 Update 1.
Wow, 18,000 images in the week 3 folder and we finally get to start a new one. It actually feels surreal seeing a file name read 00001 again.
Thank you all for the warm reception to the last update. It was, more than any other, one I was apprehensive about between the dev time and actual content, but surprise. The wheels didn't fall off the truck.
And let me tell you, it feels so good to be out of the club. Shooting in the day light. Shooting places that aren't red and brown. Shooting some place completely new.
This update will be more of the quiet domestic companion to the last two updates, as Edwin and the girls settle into the safehouse. Lots of fun cross interactions, surprises, and lines being drawn. Maybe even a group party game echoing back to some of our earlier updates. You could say this is our beach episode, but even then, this is Pale Carnations. It won't be filler.
The plan for the update is for it to span 2 days, but we'll see. So far we're setting a good pace. Quick scenes moving from interaction to interaction, but it is too early to be so confident. So let's get to the totals:
Image work began on August 21st and over the past two days 36 static images, 0 animations, and 1,294 words have been added to the project.
So, not really report worthy, but this serves as our announcement of shit happening
Thank you as always for your support. You make this happen, amigos.
Please look forward to the FINAL chapter of Pale Carnations.

Chapter, not update. Chapter 4 had 7 updates.
There goes my idea it was a old porn studio August used and retrofitted into a bunker.
