UPDATE | Google Drive folder is now a MEGA folder

Hello everyone. Sorry to bring you some bad news. But today I received an email from Google letting me know that my Google Drive has been restricted.
The reason being a "violation to their Spam Policy". I am not sure what this really means, it's probably because of the folder being accessed by too many people in a short amount of time, or maybe someone snitching on the nsfw content in there (<.<)
In any case, this was probably bound to happen and I am surprised it took so long.
This means, that there won't be a Google Drive folder for a while, until I find another solution.
Google Drive was great for the ease of access to all my work, but at the same time, it left the door open for everyone to access or share the link without being Patrons at any time. So going back to a system like this it's not ideal.
Patreon has improved a lot in the past, so my first idea right now is to look more into Patreon's organization/collections system and make a good list of where to find my most relevant work.
All my content (everything that was in the Google Drive) is still available here, it's just that it's harder to navigate.
So please give me some time to re arrange that, and if anyone knows of other effective systems for this task, feel free to drop your ideas in the comments.

Yeah Google be tripping out on creators recently could be due to AI I would get a Mega for sure
You could try Dropbox or Mega.

I notice no one has brought up Proton Drive it’s a pretty good cloud service and is actually fully encrypted unlike Google drive. You wouldn’t have to worry about potentially getting shareblocked with that one. Only downside is it isn’t completely free like google is
Some of the methods I've seen that seems successful: Keidragons/Kx2-SFM makes you link your discord and patreon account and your subscription unlocks a channel where you can access the exclusive content and download it from there.
Gerph using Mega.NZalthough I don't like the business and unsubscribing from mega was a pain in the ass for me, when i was just transferring files it worked extremely well
You might try Mega with expiring links and keeping the updated link pinned.

Yes I do. And this hasn't affected my google drive back up system, just the "sharing" options.
Dang! Hopefully this isn't a too big of a roadblock for you. If it wasn't secure in the first place, maybe this is for the best.

I tried Mega in the past, but always struggle with bandwidth limits.
Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive are alternative options. Regarding what you mentioned about the amount of people accessing the folder in a short period of time is accurate. I'm an IT Engineer and file sharing gets tricky when there's too many shares or access to a private account/folder.
Do you know if the same issue would happen with Dropbox? Probably the password lock could help mitigate that.

That sucks, but it does sound like it was too many people accessing it over a short period of time. Rather than been reported l. Maybe try setting up a Mega folder. Works simular to Google drive and you can set a password on it if you wanted to.

Have you considered using Discord to present and organize your works and posts as an alternative? Discord has both Twitch and Patreon integrations to assign roles, you can restrict access to channels based on these roles, and with community features, you can create forums, threads, and separate text channels to keep things somewhat organized.
We have a discord! and it's been one of the main ways for people to have access to my content indeed. But it doesn't beat the ease of access that Google Drive had. But using Discord's new forum styles might be a solution.

If you want to setup a google drive alternative you could probably do it with 10~20 dlls a month depending on how much storage. If you want help I can answer your questions.
I know how to do that, and it's something I could do right now. But if you read the post, I still have my own issues with google drive and how easy its for people to just share the link and never support my Patreon or anything.
