Weekly Stream #6: VCV Rack II - The Squeakquel

Could you show how you patched the sound in Starlight? The plucky one the beginning of the track? I remember you saying something about that type of sound in the modular modules video.

Given what you've learned from hardware modular, what VCV modules would you use if you were going to limit yourself to a single, moderate sized (in hardware terms) rack?

Aside from hardware limitations, like cpu, do you think you could reasonably substitute VCV rack as a (free) source of modular synthesizing? I know other youtubers like Omri Cohen are quite adept with it, but they also have physical modules. What about using it in conjunction with physical modules?

How do you deal with the limitless nature of VCV Rack and the way there are so many modules? As a beginner with it, I love the idea of VCV but find myself a little overwhelmed by it...

Do you have any thoughts on VCV Rack versus other modular soft synths like Voltage Modular or Reaktor Blocks?
