Hi everyone!
It's already been a month since my last update! Time really does fly...
But that doesn't mean I haven't been making progress on Goodbye Eternity. Quite the opposite, actually! We're on the home stretch now, and with a little luck, we should finally see the long-awaited 0.15 update released before December!
*So, what exactly is left to do?*
First, there's one final animation to complete, which is currently being worked on as I write this. Once that's finished, we'll move on to recording the voice acting for four scenes with a professional voice actress. This usually takes about a week.
After that comes translation, proofreading, and integrating the scenes into the game. Finally, there'll be a short testing phase, which should only take a day or two.
So, as you can see, we're really not far from the finish line!
*And what comes after 0.15?*
We'll be moving straight on to the Asami Friendship route, which has been completely reworked and rewritten. I genuinely think you're going to love it!
It all starts with a simple bet between Asami and her mother...
In fact, the choice that sets this story in motion is already in the game, although it's not active yet. Remember that moment when Asami confidently tells her mother that she wouldn't stand a chance with Saito and Sayuri challenges her to a bet?
Well, I'll leave you to imagine what might happen next...

Honestly don't know how to feel about Asami's new personality and storyline. I mean the new content is good but it felt like a bit of a rug-pull to have it reworked instead of continued, we've been left on one hell of a cliffhanger. But the development of the new content has also been at a pretty good pace so it doesn't feel like we'll be left with that lingering tension for too long. We also spent so much time with the old version of Asami and her storyline that it's kind of sad it's gone.
Asami's first stories were my first updates; I didn't really know what I was doing back then. Today, I'd like to revise that part so I can be proud of my work.
