This month I had a looot of cat-related problems! Gladly - not health ones but overall.

First of all - one of my cat's chip got BROKEN. Imagine that?? And it wouldn't be a too big deal BUT I moved him from Ru to EU - and there is a new law which makes it mandatory for a cat to have a document about their rabies titres. Its like you make chip, after chip goes the vaccine after you wait 30 days then make a test 2 weeks get results and if those are ok WAIT 3 months more and only after that you can take your pet with you to EU. EVEN if he had EU vaccination, yes. Also it cost somewhat 200-300 eur in Russia, Im wondering how much it will be here. And ye is seems I caaaan redo it here but will need to start over since the test is tied to a chip ;_: And my cat just got his shot 1 month ago so will need to re-apply after getting a chip, not very good for health but needed for a bureaucracy *sigh*

For the second issue I should start from a bit far. I have 2 cats on my behalf in Finland atm. One cat - loooves to eat a lot and always steals food from another. And also recently he got health issues which must be controlled with the special food and he can't eat any other. So I decided to make a huuuuge plastic box with holes and put a microchip cat door there. So it will open only for one cat and do not let other to steal. And it worked perfectly!! I have an auto feeder there so I do not have any worries about feeding time either and can even leave them alone for a few days if emergency happens (hope not hehe). But well - the door started to act weird after 4 months of use. It worked on a very short distance and very slowly. At first we thought maybe that one cat got chubbier cause she always was skinny af cause food was getting stolen etc but it seemed the chip stayed on the same place. I've tried moving the box around in the room and sometimes it felt like it is working better for a few times but not 100% fixed. I've changed batteries, reset - did everything that was written in the instructions - nothing worked. Since there was a delay my cat kept bumping her nose into it then angrily dig the door and refuse to enter so I wrote to support - maybe they could help. We chatted for some time trying different stuff and eventually they sent me a range test kit. After checking it appeared that door doesn't work as intended so I removed it from the box completely and took to another side of the room and tried there again - and it worked ;_; Just as a notice - I have a pc on a table right above the door and I've tried turning pc off and even turning wifi and monitors off etc and remember - moved the box in the room further from the table etc. I couldn't understand what is the cause, like I thought maybe it is the heating pipes i have near or maybe some computer parts. BUT suddenly i've noticed - there was a wireless TOOTHBRUSH CHARGER damn >< I turned it off and not the door works completely fiiiine! Imagine! This thing affected the door at the rabge like 3 meters in radius, wtf!! I still feel soooo bad I made support so much troubles nooo, I bet they all laughed at meeeee, I feel so stupid xD But well I havent even noticed it was on! And such a long range - daaamn! haha
Btw support and the pet door overall are awesome, I love it, will buy from them again xD

PS. I even had a dream today like the full support department laughs at me and woke up sweating xDDD
