I saw the movie AI in theaters in high school, and I actually cried watching it with one of my guy friends. I never heard the end of it. I guess I was just a sensitive boy growing up. Much like the little boy robot. Jake actually grew up in the same neighborhood as I did. He must’ve been like a year ahead of me or something. It is extremely weird.

Jake, if you read this, the company that make the tabletop Battletech game that the PC Mechwarriors games are based on still brings about a dozen of those Navy Peer pods to a convention called Gen Con every year. They probably set them up at other table top gaming conventions as well. They are still a little expensive, and they only came back like last year after being retired for a bit due to Covid (they were too hard to clean every round).

I lived in China for a while studying and working and one of my Chinese coworkers told me that 666 is a lucky number in China. It is supposed to bring you monetary wealth, so it kinda fits for them having 666 teams. I used to see business having give aways and things like that with games like trying to stop a clock counting seconds at 666 seconds. But let me promise you my extremely religious/q-pilled parents hated that little fun fact when I told them🙃
