lightning storm (july art)

Trying a different painting style this month - young Rei, Remi enjoying a lightning storm. There have been so many storms in my area lately, I really wanted to put it in a picture. Might sound weird, but I actually find storms really calming :)
I recently got a new baby bird, so I've had my hands tied. Hoping to post more soon. Enjoy!

I think they'd be able to ground it. They might be stunned for a bit, but it shouldn't hurt them in the long run xD

It's not strange, I think storms are super calming as well! I love a good thunderstorm as I go to bed and I could watch lighting for hours. Also these two are super cute, are they the ones summoning that lightening? 👀👀
They're just enjoying the storm from afar :) I don't think they were strong enough to summon lighting back then

Storms *are* calming. I read a thing once that said something like, rain/moving water has negative ions. We spend so much time around positive ions that the change is usually welcome. That or that's just the effect mother Nature has in reminding us of the kind of power she holds.
