i had this same question!! if ur still wondering they said that it is, you just pay for it all at once on the kickstarter instead of paying $15/month for about 2 years, assuming you stay at the $15 tier for the entirety of development. plus all the other perks.

I'm sorry, there's a problem with that because of how Kickstarter works. We will try to make adding that possible, but if it's not able to be an option on KS the reward will still be an option during the Backerkit reward fulfillment!
