Maybe I'm missing a perk or did the math wrong, but couldn't you potentially get the $500 tier and add on 4 mc and 2 room customizations to get the same amount of stuff as the $999 tier for $50 less?
Thank you very much for catching that! It was supposed to be a $900 tier so you got a small discount from the add-on avenue. When talking to the designer for the asset I must have made a mistake in what I put.

Question re. the custom doll/room pieces. Would those be avaliable to everybody on the customisation menu or would it be a 'enter a code' to show them on the menu kind of thing?

That's awesome 👍🏼 One question though: As already a part of your Patreon, I was wondering about the benefits difference between my pledge here on Patreon and the benefits coming from the $350 pledge on Kickstarter regarding the Patreon and Discord access? What does it mean for someone who's currently one of your Patreon?
Thanks! The content is exactly the same on Patreon and Kickstarter. You just get years of beta access plus lots of other rewards on Kickstarter. It's like buying a big package deal at a discount all up front instead of doing it month by month and buying the extras separately.
Hi, I have a question! I read up and you said that the $350 beta build tier gives the same beta build Patreon supporters get, you just pay upfront for it instead. Would that save money in the long run/would it be relatively cheaper than paying each month till completion? Totally understand if this isn't answerable because there's no set end date for the game, just an estimate, so there's no way to do definitive math on it. I would think it's cheaper than $15/month for about two years though!
I can't say for sure if it'll be cheaper if all you care about is the betas, it might be in the end. But on Kickstarter you get years of beta access plus lots of other rewards, the artbook/soundtrack/etc. It'd for sure cost more to be on Patreon for the entire development process and buy all those other things separately.
I know the Kickstarter is on Oct 10 but when during the day does it go live? When she has a chance to? Or is there an automated time?

i’m on the insider tier and i have terrible memory but i’m pretty sure i got a key when the baxter dlc came out. will we have keys for the 3 planned dlcs of ol2 as well or not at all ? since i saw that this was one of the rewards on the kickstarter !
You can get DLC keys if you back for a tier that comes with the DLCs! Not every tier gives all the DLCs.

It's the same! You can simply get the Patreon content through Kickstarter if you prefer to do it that way.

It looks so good, I can't believe the kickstarter's release is so close! Question: Is there a limit of the amount of backers on any of the tiers, especially the $225 tier?
I think the only limit is the $60 voice option.
Gonna get the voiced name again, can't wait! Mine's a fairly common name so if it's already there I'm gonna put my best friend's one instead, because she'll inevitably play this too 💕 We're gonna blow through the funding and stretch goal I bet!

I’m at least getting the voiced name tier, the only question is which name, lol. All of my names are uncommon so I doubt I’ll be lucky enough to have anyone else request them. I’ll have to think long and hard and choose one I’ll hopefully be happy with <3

i don't have a KS account so i hope its ok that i leave feedback here! A wonderful job was done! It's great that the game's full mechanics and complexity were well explained. There's a lot of information, but I can tell that it's not all unnecessary filler. Viewers can really get a good look and feel of the game just by looking at the Kickstarter which i think is really important for people who happen to stumble upon the page. The game's coziness really comes through. I also love the cut-in images and demo clips/screenshots used! Best of luck! 🫡
Got a little under two weeks to decide which name I want voiced, might have to just roll a die at this point lol. Also very happy that it's launching 2 days after my birthday!! This'll be a nice way to kick off my twenties 😊

I recently was going through the Terraforming Mars Kickstarter because the game has new stuff coming out and I wanted it. It was **so confusing** trying to figure out what I wanted and extras, because there was so much stuff. Meanwhile, I see under the rewards section with the images of what you get each tier and it lays it out perfectly. Thank you so much for that! It's laid out in such a great way. I do like that you're still calling it Twitter. Same. All-in-all, I am excited for when this goes live.

We can't say who requested what name. That's private info. So if you did see your name on a list you wouldn't know if it was because you requested it or someone else did before you. We just ask people to include multiple names they'd be happy with. If someone else already chose your first pick, we'd go with the second name you put, and so on. If somehow every name someone wanted was already picked, we'd reach out and ask them for more options.
Are the artbook and soundtrack digital or do I get them in the mail. I don't want physical rewards lol
It's digital! The only physical good is available as an optional add-on. None of the basic rewards are physical.

Looks good, can’t wait! But I recall you made a post a while back about custom voiced names being voted on and not guaranteed? I feel like that should be mentioned in the descriptions so people don’t get misled
That's for voiced nicknames, not voiced first names! The first name that people back for will be the name of their choice. Only voiced nicknames like bestie, pumpkin, dude, or whatever will be voted on.
