Continuing from the last screenshot I shared, I've got a script sample preview to share today! We've seen Qiu and Tamarack separately in Step 2 previews, now here they are together. Haha, oh boy.
Pure Text:
if tamarack came with:
tam “Will you quit it? I’m not gonna let any of us be late on the first day of school.”
“Things were getting desperate then and the clock was ticking.”
tam “Qiu, you are going to get off of that.”
if mc threw pebble earlier:
“She followed your lead and picked up an acorn. Tamarack tossed it at Qiu’s ever-vulnerable legs. It made contact, bouncing weakly off their left calf.”
“This was a combined assault purely in the goal of annoyance- and bother Qiu it did.”
qiu “Ah- what did I just say? What is with you two and throwing crap?”
if tam/mc were the same about something earlier:
tam “Me and [first_name]/[nickname] think the same way. You know that.”
if not:
tam “It works.”

if mc didn’t throw:
“When all else failed, she always had one option at her disposal- throwing things.”

GB this is amazing. We need these kind of posts sometimes because it shows the actual personality of the cast. People get ideas just on the pictures but like how you said before Tamarack would be the one to sneak food into a theatre but folk thought she’d be super shy about anything like that. I love seeing their actual personalities in these little script pieces. Great job GB ^^
Ah I see Qiu is a bit more grumpy/irritable. (I still don’t want to throw things at their legs. They are a dancer for heaven’s sake! And…they are Qiu 🥰)

This isn't the renpy script, right? I'd really like to see how the stuff is scripted but I guess that's not going to happen 😋
Yeah, it's not Renpy coding. Most people don't code and it'd just be confusing/hard to read if the actual code was shared, so that won't be something featured on the Patreon.

Poor Qiu, I hope they're not feeling depressed, but if they are I hope Tamarack and MC will help them through it.
X'D Qiu's attitude is in full swing and yet they still can't escape. At least the Lins can rest assured knowing that a pair of reliable neighbors are here to make sure their child still gets to school on time. The personality shifts of our two leads are very strong and great, I love it. Tamarack might be shy but she can still be her assertive self with her childhood buddies and Qiu... well, they're just going through a rough patch of puberty. I also love the inclusion of school in OL2 since it's set during the school year contrast to the prequel

OMG… I haven't read everything yet, but just the fact that we can call Tamarack, "Tam" make me so happy!!🥺😭😭💕 edit: I continued reading and it looks like that's not the case, it's just a shorthand for the script...🥲🫠 (I still love their interactions~🥰)
