Our Life 2: Main Street Concept Art Sketches
Thank you for all the birthday wishes yesterday 🥺️💕! It was really sweet. Now here's the normal post for today-
This is the original concept work for for the main street of Golden Grove. Two perspective options were created.
We decided to have the visual showing the entire street with the whole arch over the road made into a real background. But we also had a second, close up version of this location made. Though, option B shown here wasn't used for that. The closer viewpoint was done from scratch later on.

I hope you had a wonderful birthday! I'm glad you went with A, it's lovely seeing Golden Grove in more of a stretched out view, it really feels like you're walking down the streets of town. On a side but related note, I really have to applaud how distinctive Sunset Bird and Golden Grove (as well as the cast inhabiting both) are! A lot of visual novels usually feel like 'Same place, different coat of paint' but you can really feel the differences in the vibes of each setting. Love Sunset Bird with all my heart but I can tell Golden Grove is going to have a special place in my heart as an autumn child
