After all those posts showing the neat new things we've been improving on and adding to Our Life: Now & Forever, we're finally ready to release an expanded version of the demo! It's got twice as much content all around and gives a much better idea of what it'll be like to play the finished version.

Game Premise:
Fall has settled over a quaint town high on a mountain as the story begins. But it isn’t only the leaves that are changing. You and your mother were leaving behind everything you knew before, having just moved into that well-worn house in the middle of a tight knit cul-de-sac. It’s there where a delicate paper airplane lands at your feet and leads you to unanticipated crossroads…
Make your own path through life as you grow from childhood to adulthood with your two closest neighbors. Even in the chilly autumn weather, it’ll be a truly heartwarming time 💕

50,000 words and dozens of choices to make (twice as long as the prior demo)
Design your own MC (with even more options than before)
Customize your mom to match your character (with more options than before)
Choose a cute sticker to tell different playthroughs apart (with more options than before)
Develop your own custom dynamic with the two leads (and in this demo you can start seeing the impacts of those decisions)
A music room to listen to the OST at your leisure (a new feature in this updated version)

I FINALLY got to spend time playing, and I love this game so much already. So far, it promises to be just as cute as, if not more than, the first game. Absolutely love all the characters right off the bat.
I absolutely can’t wait for this to be fully finished. I love Our Life and it will forever have a special place in my heart.
Man you guys got me hook,line,and sinker for this game! Tamarack is such a comfort character! Can't make her my "sister" yet but I will >:3 The backgrounds and music are so soft and fitting it brings me right in to the fall feel even in the summer! ^^

Is this just a public release of all the previous demo content on patreon? I assume it's an extension of what we got 0.05? It says the patreon build is 20% longer... so where can I get the Patreon build? Is it the same thing I already downloaded in 0.05?

The public demo has some additional MC options that'll be coming soon to the Patreon beta build, such as the Cranberry Tint for eyes/hair, as well as new Mole locations for the face of the MC. It'll probably include additional content where the MC/Tam/Qiu leave school and maybe go to the cafe/restaurant. ☕🍨
When I tried to download it through steam, I seemed to run into some problems so I downloaded it on itch.io and it worked effortlessly

This page, and these games OL and OL2, have been pretty much the only things carrying me through my depressive episode. The notifications, the small updates and announcements, immediately lift my mood up.
I understand especially that my life has completely changed. I moved to a different country because of my mother's work, and the worst thing is that I have to learn three languages different from my own at the moment. I am living the worst days of my life.
