Our Life: Bedroom BG (Baxter DLC - Step 3)
This is the bedroom of the rental place on the MC's street! And for just the summer of Step 3 it's Baxter's room. This is certainly not his style at that age, but he won't complain. It's someone else's place that he's lucky enough to stay in for a vacation. He's simply glad to be there, and he'd be happy for the company if the MC comes over to see it 馃挄

Well it was the old couple that rented that place before Baxter and that's why there is a big bed

On baxter鈥檚 special dance scene in the wedding dlc, I can鈥檛 help but think that is such a selfish young adult mindset to project your feelings onto other people, even in a self-deprecating way. Anxiety, even when you鈥檙e wishing people will hang out with you but assume they won鈥檛, is inherently selfish because it鈥檚 a biological defence mechanism. You feel guilt and rejection because homo-sapiens evolved to feel emotional pain to avoid being alienated from the pack. It鈥檚 really not Qiu, OL2 MC or OL1 MC鈥檚 fault that they didn鈥檛 return his feelings, but he assumes it must be some problem with him that things didn鈥檛 work out how he wanted. You better experience some healthy growth and value yourself more, dummy! There鈥檚 no way i鈥檓 not romancing you when your DLC comes out!

Oh I can imagine the MC hanging out with Baxter as they are watching a movie and the MC falling asleep mid movie (being tired because of work) and Baxter being a gentleman just takes the MC to his room so the MC can sleep more comfortable

I absolutely love Baxter. Especially after wedding DLC when he told MC about his feelings and how he "can't be important". I even cried a little because I saw myself in his words. Can't wait for his DLC!
That scene RUINED me! Especially with the recent revelation that Baxter has had two unrequited loves - Qiu was his first love (potentially stolen away by the OL2 MC) and then the OL MC (potentially stolen away by Cove/Derek) I don't blame the poor guy for feeling like he can't win.

Honestly this makes me have a question. With Cove in Step 3/4 we got some spicy moments (that never go too far) and now I'm genuinely curious if Baxter and Derek in Step 3/4 will have similiar moments like that or if it's only with Cove.
