This is honestly so cute, it's nice seeing the both of them interacting a bit more. Actually this is probably the first time I actually see them talk directly to each other (excluding the few times like Derek thanking Cove if he picked the book for him)
When my MC was too short to grab the book to give to Derek, the closest that Cove had done to help Derek was to suggest using a stool to get it himself. I was hoping the MC would offer to give Derek a boost.
