Our Life: Now & Forever Prologue Beta Build 0.03! 🌰 (PC, Mac, Android)
The Our Life: Now & Forever prologue beta is here! Until the prologue is fully complete, this is gonna be a new staple perk of Tier 2 and up on the Patreon. Unlike the Tier 3 and up Derek beta, this probably won't update every single month. New events will come around every two or three months. But you can look forward to seeing more of the OL2 prologue, and improved game features, as it slowly comes together between work on OL1.
And it starts right here with this beta that adds a few scenes after the point where the public demo stops.
Save files from the previous build won't work perfectly with this new version. Please make a new file for things to be error-free.
New Content:
Night scenes for Prologue Day 1 and a little bit of Morning Prologue Day 2. Almost 10,000 words added overall between the many alteration branches
More sticker options!

Would love to see if there would be an option to choose a body for Qui like the Cove creator. Be it full on trans, feminine or just manly Qui. Qui would still look perfect either way. Such a beautiful design.

It just keeps getting more precious with each update. I love that we can keep the note as a memento. I love the mom's hair and eye color, it's like a reminder of that other parent missing in their life. I love the option is always to say "I found my future spouse!" and then make it happen :)
Small request: An option that'll match our character's hair and/or eye color with our mom. I changed it thinking there would be an option to change her hair color too then went back only to find out the color isn't a preset option either lol
My doll had purple hair and purple eyes. It said something akin to "you got the purple in your hair and eyes from your mom."
Qiu is so cute, I love that he came to visit AND I love Opal and mc cleaning together! This was so sweet

Just a typo in the part where Qiu visits, one of the options are, "you waved shyly" Also a typo in the part where you choose your opinion on whether you want to walk with tamarack as well. Love the game so far, can't wait <3333😆😆😆😆

Everytime a new update comes up I SPRINT, I loved Beginnings & Always and you can tell this is gonna be just as good if not better, keep up the good work and take your time! You're smashing it and I'm so excited for it to come out!!

I'm sorry. Did you load a save file or is this in a brand new file?
Adding a note: MC wears a hijab and took it off for bed and is now bald. I did select hair for them originally. It might just be because of how the assets are layered or something that it doesn’t register that the character still has hair under the hijab but I thought I’d mention it.

MY HEART CAN'T TAKE IT! It was so pretty AND CUTE! I'm reminded of the baby years of OL1 and I'm squealing with how cute these two are! I'm dying to play the full game when it comes out! I cannot wait!

i love the new beta build so far! but i do have a concern: i chose the NB option for my mc but when i see tamarack with qiu, whenever i introduce myself as "kind of, not actually" when she mistakes us as girls, she responds with "both girls, kind of, both girls kind of" which i believe is a mistake of scripting?
I think you may have misread that choice. It's "Kind of, not totally." rather than "Kind of, not actually.". So you said you were kind of a girl and Tamarack reacts by saying you're both kind of girls. I'm sorry for the confusion.
This was so satisfying! 1. I did not encounter any bugs myself. 2. I loved seeing the characters get fleshed out more as individuals as well as the relationship dynamics. More interactions with Opal too! (Positive thinker and loving mother Opal with her shy, quiet, cold and awkward child MC is quiet funny to me…. did I recreate the Cold temperament Cove and Cliff Holden dynamic?!) 3. I also got my first opportunity to “upgrade” My relationship dynamic with Qiu which was a lovely surprise! I like the “flavoring” it added, that Qiu saw our dynamic differently than my character was seeing it. It felt very organic!
It quit on me twice but other than that, ran super smoothly! Appreciated the option to take your headwear off before bed-that's forgotten often in other games :)
I haven’t completed it just yet, had to go back to work BUT I love you can see the expression elements in use. You can see the refinement of characters and a bit more dialogue with them expressing their own selves further. I always thought the initial mini demo was great but you said, imma make it better. Thank you for incorporating the express elements and defining further how the relationship dynamics will work (in the build with your tutorial voice :) ) This has helped me flesh out the relationships even more and have a better mental image of them!

I absolutley loved this!!! Qui is my favorite so far and I loved getting more content with him. I also loved having more time with the mom too! So sad when it had ended but I'm super excited for the final product! Thank you for making such a wonderful game!! <3

omg I changed my tier just because I was so exited to play more of OL2! I absolutely loved it! getting to be inside the house, spend time with mom, etc. was so wonderful. I was upset when the beta ended 😭 but I'm excited to see the rest! ! can't wait!!
I don't remember if this was in the last beta but I love the little extra details that pop up when the characters express something. Also how our Doll changes expressions. Aaaaah, I loved the moments we had with Opal.
