Month End Post: September 2021
Hello!
Summer is over and fall has arrived (where I live, anyway). And with that change of season came the release of Our Life: Beginnings & Always Step 4. It's finally out. Unbelievable. That already kind of sums things up, but let's get into the monthly report.
Monthly Content Summary:
Releasing S4, and the subsequent bug fixing patch, were the main accomplishments for September. Most of what used to be sneak peeks are now public knowledge when it comes OL1. We're getting to work building up more content to reveal and make betas of in the future, though. The Cove wedding DLC and the Derek DLC should have progress made in the coming weeks.
Our Life: Now & Forever, on the other hand, had a lot of new cool secret stuff to share this month. More Step 2 sprites, the first soundtrack samples, a mini-clip from the prologue, the town's name/state it's set in, etc. Progress towards having an actual, playable mini-demo of the game is happening rapidly. I can't believe it might not be too much longer before people can try out this brand new OL experience 😳. We'll do our best.

This means that the wedding dlc and Derek's dlc will launched this month? or??
I think for nów that mean how the many progress would be made during next weeks would depend on about when each DLC would appeare.
OOOO, yes yes yes. I'm amazed at the progress you all can make in such a short span of time! As long as you all are remembering to take care of yourselves, keep up the great work! Games like Our Life are so hard to come by, and even more so to be so accessible. I really admire all you've done! I look forward to the DLC's, expect my money as soon as they're up.
So excited to see what's coming to us, one question there is though, are Sunset Bird and Golden Grove real cities or are they fictional, cause either i am to dumb to find them on Google Maps or well yea?
They're made up towns, haha. But the naming conventions are based on real cities so they sound like they might potentially be places in their areas.

These little updates are pretty much the highlight of my day. On pins and needles waiting for OL2

do you know if there's still going to be an 18+ bonus moment for step 4? I remember that being mentioned after the success of the first one but I wasn't sure if it was still happening
That's only something we're considering if there's ever time, unfortunately. We saw people did want more after the first extra came out, but a second one wasn't in the plans and we can't kick other things out of production to start working on something new instead. We'll have to wait and see if it's doable someday.
Looking forward to the next month! What about the Baxter DLC though? Is that still happening?
It's coming after pretty much everything else (OL2 demo, wedding DLC, and Derek DLC). But we are gonna get to it eventually, aha.
