Our Life: Beta Build 0.93-0.94 (Full Step 4! PC, Mac, & Android) UPDATED!
STEP 4 IS HERE 🎉!!
We've finally got the first full beta build of Step 4. It's not 100% perfect, but it is pretty close to release-ready. It was a long wait to get here and I really appreciate all the patience.
Errors reported from the 0.93 build have been fixed. You can download the 0.94 version from the links below now!
Save files from the end of Step 3 will work with Step 4, but save files from the end of the prior Step 4 beta won't work. In order to play the beta without errors you'll need to go through Step 4 from its very beginning. Starting part way through will mean the new content doesn't work right.
New Content:
After the credit sequence in Step 3 the whole of Step 4 epilogue happens. You can also skip directly to Step 4 by starting a new file
There's a gallery page for Step 4 now
We added in a way to make a custom engagement ring for Cove, if you give him one
Errors were fixed from reports on the past beta
What's Missing:
Cove's first CG isn't there yet
There's still some polishing/fixing needing

(And also, as a small bit of useful info, Cove can propose if certain requirements are met and there's 3 and half different premises the scene can take based on what held value throughout your playthrough, if you wanna try that out)

I have all my dlcs through steam, will step 4 be added to steam as well?
Playing this was amazing and I'm glad i was able to experience it. I already miss it now that the story has concluded. Never thought I'd get so attached to Cove lmao, really looking forward to the Wedding dlc
I love this! But since the new update it seems like MC's voiced names aren't said anymore. I don't know if it's because it's the beta or if it's a bug but I figured I should mention it.
Has anyone managed to get all 3.5 proposals? I got the one on the hill they met on, but I'm curious what the others are (or at least, how they're achieved lol)
Sorry for the confusion. It's not brand new scenes, it's always on the hill. It's just the premise of the conversation that changes.

I did things both ways. Let Cove propose for my shy boy and proposed first for my outgoing boy. c: It was cute, now I'm just waiting for the whole Wedding DLC as well as being able to go with Baxter or Derek.
First playthrough of Step 4 and the nostalgia and feels hit hard. Strangely though, despite proposing to Cove first, the game played his proposal too. Not that I don't appreciate seeing him propose, but I'm wondering if this is a bug.
So I've played through step 4 a few times now... I'm absolutely in love with this step and really just Our Life in general. The ending didn't feel like an end but really a new beginning. I'm so in love with this game and the characters. It really has me nostalgic for something I've never experience except vicariously through my MC. God honestly the very last scene really brought it all together and brought tears to my eyes. I'm so so sad to see that the game is basically over (minus the wedding DLC and the other alt romance partner DLCs). Despite being a bittersweet feeling to see things finally come to a conclusion I'm so glad I came along for the ride.
I just finished my first playthrough of Step 4 and I don’t have the words to describe it. I will say that Our Life is one of a very small handful of visual novels that can bring me to tears. Well done! 🥲🥰💝

This is sososo cute!!! Also, I ran into a bug where Cove proposed to me.... despite the fact that I proposed to him earlier. Both scenes were adorable though!
I'm not sure about the android version. But on Windows the game will crash every time during Cove's proposal. I've tried restarting my computer and deleting and reinstalling the game but nothing has worked so far.

Yeah I also tried downloading the android version on my phone and it's also giving me the possible: infinite loop error on there as well :( even though I started a new file on both versions of the game.

Yup, it basically freezes and it won't go past that point. At least for me it won't.

From my guess what you need to do is to pick all the choices indicating you’re hoping to take the next step and that he’ll propose. I also had a save where they had all the marriage talk in step 3 just to be safe but I’m pretty sure you just need to pick those choices in Step 4 for him to propose to you
