Our Life: Beta Build 0.92 (Step 4- 6/7 Parts! PC, Mac, & Android)
Thank you for waiting for this! We almost had the full version of Step 4 ready for beta testing, but we're just not gonna get it done before the end of the month I'm sorry to say. To make sure our backers still have something to play in August, we're putting this nearly finished version out. Of course, you're welcome to wait for the entire Step 4 beta if you prefer. It'll be releasing in early September!
Like before, at the start of this beta you'll have the option to skip straight to Step 4 in order to avoid having to fast forward through the whole game.
Save files from the end of Step 3 will work with Step 4, but save files from the end of the prior Step 4 beta won't work. In order to play the beta without errors you'll need to go through Step 4 from its very beginning. Starting part way through will mean the new content doesn't work right.
New Content:
After the credit sequence in Step 3, the Step 4 epilogue happens. It's almost everything with 6 out of 7 parts included
Errors were fixed from reports in the main game
What's Missing:
Cove's first CG isn't there yet
The transition between Steps 1-3 hasn't been added
Part 7 of Step 4 didn't make it into this build

man, i was smiling so much at the end of the beta that my face hurts now haha
Had a weird bug that when I skipped to step 4 to see the new content I couldn't get past the character creator since it would crash when I went to rename mc's last name, or change the skin color and eye color. I play on Mac for reference, besides that I really love the new content!!
I'm sorry you're having trouble. Can you tell me what the crash says? I'm afraid I'm not sure what it could be right now.

I really should've seen it coming when Cove said there was another thing he'd rather see us in, but I was pleasantly surprised! If Step 4 is going to contain moments like that more, I'm definitely in for a wild ride! (not that I'm complaining hehe)
I saw it coming but I was in denial. I was like no.. there's no way. OMG. It was hilarious and adorable.
Had to complete college work before I could play and man was this making me get done faster! I've checked everyday to see the progress for the game and OL2. I can't wait to play in about 5 minutes. Don't apologize for not having the full game out yet. Summer lasts until September, and I know you wanted it don in August. We can all wait and are so excited that you guys put in so much effort to make us happy. I wish you guys well!
