Our Life 2: Pronoun Selection!
Our programmer conceptualized and created a wonderful new way to handle pronoun implementation in Our Life: Now & Forever which not only allows you to go by more than one of the original three choices, but to weigh exactly how often they're used and to input your own preferred pronouns (which can still be used along with the other default options)! It's fantastic.
From here, we'll also be adding the option to choose which type of gendered terms you're comfortable with (such as liking when "dude/bro/etc." is used in a friendly way but only wanting to be called "daughter/niece/etc." rather than "son/nephew/etc." in a family setting). The terms won't be automatically set based on which pronouns you go with, though you could also skip the heavy customization if you do just want to go with everything being based on the already chosen pronouns.
It's really nice to be able to expand/improve on things with a fresh project 🥰️

I have never felt more represented pronoun wise. From a multiple pronoun user and neopronoun user who tends to get sad when they only have one choice, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

gang, you have once again shown why I continue to support you. :) I've been here for over two years now. To see how much this patreon has grown is inspiring. This feature is another reason why I'm here. :) It shows you care about your growing fan base. I'll be using this feature to create a dozen amazingly unique mcs that l'll love getting to know as it doesn't apply to me personally. I'm just so very happy for everyone that it does affect and I'm glad they will get a game that lets them be who they are and recongnizes that.

Lovely option, will this affect the chance per NPC or is it applied globally only? I mean, it's understandable some people would confuse what pronoun to use, depending on context and level of relationship with MC. Then more they would warm up to MC more chance they would use their favorite pronoun for example.
GB Patch would never put in the a feature like this and then have it taken away from the very people it's for. The Our Life games are meant to be positive, so there would not be people in the games that won't recognize pronouns, there are enough people in our own lives that are like that. We don't need them in our games.

That's pretty impressive! For me non-binary people are still quiet new term, so I think such option would help greatly to under stand more.

This is amazing. Unbelievable. I use they/them or xe/xem/xyr (whichever is easier for the speaker) most of the time, but on days when I just feel like a trans guy, I like he/him better. To have a video game reflect that, to have devs who care this much--is so much. Thank you.

Allowing for this level of precise customization for players has to take a lot of different cases/factors into account, and I really appreciate the work that must have gone into expanding it this much. I really love this, I have a friend who is gender fluid and they are sad that there aren't much ways to express that since they don't identify as non-binary (and we speak french), but not 100% female or male :D this would probably make them happy if they played those kinda game, but if they are ever interested I would definitely try to introduce them to both Our Life games (when this one is finished). :D Just telling them this will make them so happy!!!!
