Our Life: Beta Build 0.9 (Step 4 Intro! PC, Mac, & Android)
You can now play the first bit of Step 4 🎉! This is really exciting.
At the start of this beta you'll have the option to skip straight to Step 4 in order to avoid having to fast forward through the whole game.
However, your save files in the PC and Mac version will likely still work! If you saved near the end of Step 3 it should be possible to simply load it up and continue on past the credits to Step 4. The Android build is a separate file from the main game so you may or may not see your save files in the beta.
And to get the fullest out of the beta I would suggest trying it both in and not in a relationship with Cove as the content is kind of split.
New Content:
After the credit sequence in Step 3, the Step 4 epilogue's introduction scenes play rather than the game ending
Errors were fixed from reports in the main game
What's Missing:
Cove's first CG isn't there yet
No voice acting has been added yet

If the "skip" option was in full game it would be great, because sometimes you want to move on to a particular Step.
I really like it, I love this game. I can't wait for the release. Also, I didn't really understand one thing. When I knocked out Cove's appearance, I was picking "Buff," but in the game it was "slim."

I’m sooooo happy I had an indifferent save so I could have a crush on him in step 4. The “FINALLY” moment between the MC and Cove was so sweet.
Yess I'm So Excited!!!
I adored it! Hearing the music and seeing the familiar backdrops really did bring back memories from when I first played, as if I was really in the game! And seeing Cove as a grown 23 year old adult was a really nice moment, for sure! Two things though. One a suggestion, and the other a reminder. 1. If you say you and Cove are engaged, then there's a part where the dialogue says "fiancE" instead of "fiancé". 2. Is there a possibility of announcing the engagement, and having everyone gush over the ring/the news, or do they already know?
This was great! I also was surprised to see that my boy Chris can finally be friends with Jeremy, I like to imagine Jeremy at odd hours of the night and day gets random pictures from Chris' global travels with the caption 'this reminds me of you', haven't heard from chris for 3 months and then suddenly a picture of some random thing chris thought was neat. The gameplay was great, i noticed at the end for one option 'you laughed along with them' you put " " and it looked like the mc was saying it out loud rather than doing it! and one line was missing the for 'the party'. I'll play it back and see if i spot the exact spots for them!

This was absolutely adorable. Seeing Cove on my screen looking so different makes me kinda sad. I miss the other sprite I've gotten used too, but regardless it's still Cove and I just have to get used to the new one. He's still absolutely beautiful though. Long haired Cove all the way. ♡♡♡
