Our Life 2: Qiu Step 2 (Sketch)!
Here they are! 14-year-old Qiu goes by they/them pronouns exclusively. And oh no, I'm back at it again with the jerks because teenaged Autumn has a terrible attitude, haha. I can't help it.
Over-taxed, stressed, and ever-unimpressed, Qiu is still highly in-demand as company but they're considered hard to approach. Probably because they shoot down almost everyone who tries to take up their time. Qiu doesn’t have the bandwidth to humor folks anymore. They’re highly selective with who they hang with. But that (along with being strongly spoken, funny, and charming when they do talk to someone) just makes them even cooler in teenager land. Unfortunately, Autumn doesn't feel special, they constantly struggling with keeping their thoughts straight and are frustrated with their own sense of identity. It's a rough time. If the MC is close with Qiu, they're definitely a safe harbor Autumn cherishes. If not, than the MC is simply another blank face in the crowd.
Are you surprised by this development or perhaps you had a feeling it might turn out this way? No matter what though, I hope you're looking forward to muddling your way through puberty with Qiu.

For half a second I was surprised but given their backstory for step one, it actually seems inevitable. I'm rooting for them to figure everything out in time. ❤️💕

I'm surprised, but also intrigued. My favourite type of LI is a sweetheart like Cove, but we already have him, so Qiu is interesting for being different

im a little bit surprised by this stage with Qiu but not at all upset! i like it actually, i just hope they and my mc can be close even if she struggles with his attitude. also, silly question, but can we be close with both Qiu and Tamarack in the same playthrough? i feel like especially, in step 2, their both so different and theyre in completely different social groups and we'd have to pick one or the other to spend time with during moments....

Qiu probably wouldn’t appreciate me calling them precious BUT LOOK AT THEM 😭💕 I might have missed a previous post, but will our responses impact their hair choice (similar to how it did for Cove)? I love the long hair!
Omggg I love them so much 😭 I also struggled with my identity around their age, though for different reasons. Can't wait to be there for them when they need it!
So, literally me when I was their age. AND I also went by they/them exclusively then, too. We just have more and more similarities with each new post on Qiu.
