It's adorable!! I really think the textboxes should be larger horizontally instead of vertically because it hides her body and it's not comfortable to read :( Also the menu on both sides of the screen is so distracting it would be nice if it was on the same side I think :o

It's cool, tho when the text enlarged, I was worried that it would hide the character at the back. The transparency choice helps with this part ig. I kinda suggest making the action boxes be placed downwards on the screen as to not be confused with dialogue boxes or colored differently.
While the speech bubble is a neat idea, it's not good that it covered the whole body when the text was enlarged. And with smaller text it was very hard to read, i had to squint and put the screen right under my nose.
With the enlarged text I still found it hard to read, honestly.

I really think that narrative text should be in a horizontal box at the bottom of the screen so it doesnt obscure the character or background. It's just covering the character sprites, even more so when the text is enlarged. The formatting isn't working. But I think one place this style works is the text bubble when its used to host sentences that are 2-3 lines, when T says "Umbrella" was incredibly cute

One thing that wasn't so good was that when the font was enlarged, the text box expanded vertically so that all of Tamarack's body was hidden--if the textbox is going to change size, I think it would be very beneficial to have it only really expand horizontally rather than vertically, or at least have a vertical expansion cap so that it can never extend higher than a character's midriff or something along those lines. The characters are all so lovely, I want to be able to see them properly when I play :)

I like it all so far, the rain and the little sparkles, especially, but also the font options and that the text box adjusts to the amount of text. Personally I don't like unnecessary empty space in UI so I would find a too large text box distracting.
Thank you for the text options! Other than that, I love the way this game is evolving from the first one!
I would like if there was at least an option to keep the text box size consistent, even if that means it will be larger than needed most of the time. The constant changing is very distracting for me. ^^; A wider text box might also work well, it's harder to read larger paragraphs when they're in a more vertical format.
