Our Life: Beta Build 0.80! (Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android)
Hello again!
We've got the final beta update for September. I'm sorry for the lack of an Android build, it's still not playable and there's only a few days left so we felt we had to release something. We'll try our best to add it before the end of the month.
New Content:
355,000 words in total
The Step 3 Moment "Talks" is now playable
The cut-in image in Errands is finished
There's now 140 save slots instead of 42!
Starting in Step 3, you can now give your character a nose ring and/or a headscarf
Errors were fixed from before
If you're at Fond or Crush during Step 2, the fourth level of relationship (Love), can be unlocked during Step 3. If you were indifferent during Step 2 then Crush will still be the highest option.
What's Missing:
A fully functional choice-based Cove for Step 3, please use the Cove Customization Screen to determine things for now
The transitional narration between Steps 2 and 3
Getting to customize the appearance of the bedroom in Step 3
Known Errors:
The phone screen sometimes comes in and out of view weirdly
Saves from the old beta or the public demo will have errors if used with the new version. Please start a brand new file!
New events don't have voice acting for most characters yet
If you run into any kind of error report screen, hitting the Ignore option once or twice will generally let the game continue past that point.

Do i have to play every moment from every step when i download a new beta? Just curious haha
You only have to play the events you wanna play ^^. There might be references to prior events you miss by skipping Moments but it's not a huge deal, especially if you plan to play the Moments all together someday when the game has fully released.
It was a really different experience telling the truth to Cove during step 3 rather than during step 2. I thought Cove would still be really upset over it, but I was pleasantly surprised when he brushed it off so easily. Just shows how much he has grown 💙. I still think telling the truth during step 2 is more impactful though. Anyways, thanks for the update!
Haha, yeah, he's made some progress when it comes to his relationship with his dad. I'm glad you enjoyed the event!

This is once more a wonderful update! :D Small question, in step 2, what is the difference between the choice "your chest was entirely flat" and "your chest was flat, but might change as you got even older"?
Thank you! Flat chested is a less blunt way of just saying you have no boobs, haha. If your chest was entirely flat and that's it, it means the MC has no boobs and there's no reason to think your MC will ever have boobs. If you think it might change over time that means maybe boobs will grow in later, if the MC is a late bloomer, or that the MC is thinking about perhaps having a top surgery to add breast someday, or the MC just doesn't know what their body will ultimately end up being like, or whatever. I hope that makes sense.

!!! I'm so excited as always!!! Update: the new moment was just amazing. I loved being able to help our friends and finding out Cove’s sexuality. Finding out that Cliff was a card shark cracked me up, I loved it! Also, I still can’t bring myself to tell Cove about the money Cliff gave me when we were 8 🥺 I know it’s been 10 years but I’m worried he’ll be all sad!!!!
