Our Life: Beta Build 0.77! (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android)
Hey everyone! This was a tough month for us here at GB Patch Games. The beta build is definitely missing some things and may have a higher amount of errors than usual. But we wanted our August backers to have a decent amount of time to be able to claim this part of their benefits before the next billing cycle, so here we go, haha.
To put things into a brighter view, we're finally moving into Step 3. We've waited ten years for this and the time has arrived!
Android Download (the file says demo, but it's the beta. I can't seem to figure how to to get the build name to change)
New Content:
297,000 words in total
Part 1 and 2 of the Step 3 opening have been added
A new parking lot background was added to some older Steps
Errors were fixed from before
If you're at Fond or Crush during Step 2, the fourth level of relationship (Love), can be unlocked during Step 3. If you were indifferent during Step 2, than Crush will still be the highest option.
What's Missing:
A fully functional choice-based Cove for Step 3, please use the Cove Customization Screen to determine things for now
The transitional narration between Steps 2 and 3
Getting to customize the appearance of your cellphone and bedroom in Step 3
The Step 3 Lee sprite
Known Errors:
Saves from the old beta or the public demo will have errors if used with the new version. Please start a brand new file!
New events don't have voice acting for most characters yet
If you run into any kind of error report screen, hitting the Ignore option once or twice will generally let the game continue past that point.

I really enjoyed this I love that the MC and Liz are closer! And there was the Shiloh I know and sometimes love. The CG of Cove was amazing. Honestly i can't wait for more!

Im so glad you guys were able to get everything out on time! As usual it was such a treat to play the beta and I love how much cove and Lizzie have grown! As for Shiloh, wow. I expected him to do Chris dirty like that but TO DO THAT TO LIZ WAS UNCALLED FOR.

if i had to guess it's cause there's a lot of restrictions and approvals you have to go through not to mention you've to do it all over each update
the new update was amazing! the scene with Liz, the MC, and Shiloh was so funny. especially, when Nate arrived. and Liz was like, "I could have told him his birthday, his last name, but no I just stood there like a dummy" or something like that. lol and of course, Shi, being the snake he is pretending not to know her. lol

What the HECK there is so much, just so much that blows my mind here! All of the custom dialogue depending on the MANY presents you can give him + specific stuff about it that reflects past choices (mentioning if the bouquet was eaten or not, if the balloon was named, etc.) Just... my mind is BLOWN. And the MC customization! Amazed how how detailed things get! Like, if you were short in step 2 and then tall in step 3 it gets mentioned, how different physical contact with cove is depending on height (was dying of laughter when a short MC tries to noogie Cove LMAO), how MC feels about their height and if their opinion has changed... mannn I am just in complete awe of how much work is put time and time again in the script! ANYWAY the update was amazing as usual and it's so crazy to see how we've already reached step 3!

I ran into this one error. When I went into customizing my step 3 MC the speech bubble was stuck on the screen. Made me extremely confused when it stayed on the screen ngl 😅 Other than that I loved this update! It was so cute! Thank you for your hard work, I can't wait for another update!

Just got playing and it was soo good! I love that we can be as cuddly and affection as we want with Cove in the 3rd Step, if you're dating at that point. I can't wait to for the moments to be added!

I was over the moon when I saw this and its so much fun to play this game. I hope you guys know you don't need to rush this in the future. This game deserves time and care we know you'll give it. That being said I was extremely happy ensuring my mc hugged the daylights out of this young man.
