I'm happy you're loving the game c:. Unfortunately there can't be any rivalry. Baxter just isn't the type to push where it's not wanted and would rather bow out than try to compete against someone else for attention/affection. Any negativity between the two would simply be one-sided from Cove, haha.
Are we gonna get to meet Baxter in the next update?
I'm afraid not. There's still a Step 2 Moment, the Step 2 ending, the transition between the two Steps, and multiple Step 3 scenes that come before Baxter all to add first. So he's still a ways off.
Coves like “you can just say that to someone without dying on the inside?!” 😂 I absolutely LOVE Baxter’s design and will be excited to interact with him!
