Our Life: Beta Build 0.72!
Yeah, we're doing another update already, aha. There were some issues with the prior build, which have gotten improvements and fixes now. But also, it has yet another new Moment- Growing! I've started to think about adding Growing to the public demo in next month's expansion and would really like some feedback on the event beforehand. That's the one where you get to determine the MC's sexuality and such, the options for that have to be effective for a wide variety of players.
For those reasons, doing another update now seemed like a good idea. But you're welcome to pass on this download if it's not a big enough change.
Android Version (file name says demo, but it's the beta)
There's still gonna be one more beta update near the end of the month to add the final Step 2 Moment and, hopefully, the first part of the Step 2 Ending scene! Fingers crossed it all comes together in time.

Jeremy and Miranda have their partial voice acting
The cut-in image for Mall was added

Known Errors:
Saves from the old beta or the public demo will have errors if used with the new version. Please start a brand new file!
New events don't have voice acting for most characters yet
The appearance part of Cove Creator has some small issues with displaying the sprite layers. To try avoiding problems for now, cycle through all the options to get the one you want even if the one you prefer is by default displayed on the Cove Creator sprite.
If you run into any kind of error report screen, hitting the Ignore option once or twice will generally let the game continue past that point just fine.

So this was my first playthrough with most of these moments and I have to say I continue to fall in love with this game!! I always go looking for games that allow a lot more freedom in the MC's gender and sexuality and you really hit the nail on the head with this! The ability to change your gender etc throughout is refreshing compared to other games of a similar style, and the moment Growing really just adds to it. Being trans and demisexual myself, these moments and small bits in the game really just make me so happy and feel represented and SEEN in a game. The way sensitive topics are handled in the game is done so well imo too!! Honestly all in all I don't feel like my hand is forced into certain choices or paths when playing this game even if it is very on rails. It feels so natural and real and each moment really adds an amazing layer to not only Cove but the MC, other characters, and the world. I'm absolutely obsessed and in love with this game and cannot wait to see further developments!!!

As a demisexual...just thank you for that Moment. And this game in general. I can only imagine how much work it is to create this detailed of a VN and include so many different kinds of people...but it is such a lovely thing to play right now. Cannot wait for Step 3.

OMG all of these updates... you spoil us so much! First off, I did a different play through for step 1 where I didn't tell Cove the truth and was shocked to see how different the Dinner moment turns out! It felt so much more personal and heartfelt... and I loved the CG in the end! Soiree was so wonderfully detailed! I loved how MC's comments on the band depend on whether or not they play an instrument. And again, MC's parents are the absolute best lol Family is probably one of my favorite moments of all time. There's just so much heart and raw emotion there... I'm glad we got to see the backstory to MC and Elizabeth's adoptions. You could of just mentioned they were adopted and left it at that, but instead you made it more real and showcased the struggles some people go through. I really loved how we got to see Elizabeth open up after being so distant throughout step 2. But really, MC is surrounded by such wonderful and supportive people! And I loved the new moment! There's SO many options it blows my mind! It was also nice learning more about MC's parents because I just love them so much lol. AND COVE... STOP BEING SO ADORABLE I REALLY CAN'T HANDLE IT OMG Such a fantastic and fast update! There's been so much progress! It's crazy to see we're almost at Step 3!

Hi! I loved this update so much! I wasn't especting so much choices for the attraction discussion and I love it! I am someone who is asexuel and aromantic (who weirdly love VN and Otome xD) and I love how the game can represent many orientations and how well it is done especialy for those that have a lot of different aspect such as physical and romantic attraction! (If my MC didn't have a crush on Cove would there be an option for no romantic attraction?) Thank you SO much for making such a wonderful and diverse game. Never played a game as beautiful and inclusive as this one and I can't thank you enough for making possible! This made my day!!! :D PS: Sorry if I made some errors, english isn't my first language and this was a long comment x3

ya'll im pouring one out for not being able to take derek to the party-- That DLC is gonna be so good. Cove was a good wingman, i love cove and chris's relationship be it platonic or romantic, I think none of us can deny that they have a great relationship. It was great to explore growing up, I feel like it was handled in a very easy and organic way! I would have loved if when Lizzie complains about growing if there was a comment about MC's height or growth too but that's just a small thing! Overall I loved what you added and loved the added choices to the responses to cove at the party! Can't wait for the next update!
Haha, yeah, Derek does get the short end of the stick in the base events since it's all about Cove constantly. But his time will come >:) And that's great to hear! We definitely want things to be fun even if you're not romancing Cove. The parents do mention that the MC is growing up too after Elizabeth leaves, so I'm not sure what extra they could say about it. Did you have something specific in mind?
Aaaah! This game is such a safe space for me ^^ You guys handle important topics in the most delicate and understanding ways! It feels really nice to be able to discuss such topics fully knowing you're going to be accepted 110% no matter what option you identify with! there's an issue when you go to talk to Cove about who you're attracted to it says : "file game/s2_growing.rpy" , line 1787 . in NameError: 'mc_pronouns_changed' is not defined besides that issue, I think that the whole memory is adorable and I am loving it!

When Cove asked about whether we bought any new accessories I WAS ABOUT TO LOSE IT. I thought this would finally be the moment where we bust out our anklet! But this was such a precious moment that will definitely set the tone for future interactions and show where the mc stands on things. You did a wonderful job 👏
