It’s also Derek’s birthday month, so I’d like to ask some questions about Derek: 1.) Did Derek do any dating in college? Assuming he hadn’t made a pact with MC. 2.) Speaking of the pact, did Derek really “forget” about the pact between Steps 2 and 4? Or was he just trying to take off any pressure MC could have potentially been experiencing? 3.) Will our character be able to go through internalised homophobia? Struggling with the idea that they might be queer. Ik that the first our life game had gender disphoria. Without and internalised homophobia. I'd assume it would be because you have to mums. But without a queer role model it would be interesting to see.

This question is a bit silly and may have been addressed before. I noticed people saying that blue. Yellow. Green. Mean diffrent emotions when responding in our life begining and always. How would a medically complex mc affect the relationships we have with other characters like qiu, tamarack, and mama? think chronic illness, seizure prone, poor mental health, immunodeficient, etc. personally I believe mama may work more to afford doctors visits and medications but also there's the risk factor of the mc being alone when a medical event goes down. 3.okay damn that last one was heavy jeez sorry lol. anyways, how would qiu and tamarack feel about an mc with hair they've been growing since birth? im talking like a good four feet, easily knee length. like that thing is LONG. 4. how would our lovely qiu and tamarack feel about an mc who never lost that childhood energy. if anything, they're even more hyper, literal puppy stuck in the wrong body.

Hi, Gb! I hope the recovery is going smoothly!! I had a question I'm not sure I heard before in the other q&a's: How would the OL2 cast (li and Vianca, Opal, Serenity, Ren, Baxter… if you feel like they wouldn’t care you can skip some of em LMAO) react to the mc being a super mega troublemaker around step 2? Breaking things, sneaking out or skipping class without permission, talking back to adults, getting into fights often... mc having a terrible temper, basically. All this while mc treats the li's nicely (at least compared to everyone else, lol) and is protective of them. I figured in step 1 it wouldnt change that much, little kids are always kinda destructive and/or mean so I wouldn't really say they would be very surprised, probably midly annoyed... but I wanted to know. I hope it isn't too much trouble, it's alright if there's no specific answer, thank you so much for reading anyways!

My question is regarding liking both LI’s in Our Life Now and Forever. One of my MCS likes both Qiu and Tamarack but I want her to end up marrying Tamarack only and not end up in a relationship with Qiu, despite liking them aswell. I was wondering how Qiu will feel about the MC and Tamarack after that, and if there will be bitter enough feelings to not want a friendship with either of them. And also regarding the wedding dlc, is there a possibility that they wouldn’t feel like showing up/not helping to plan it because of jealousy? Hello! I still hope you are healing well and your team is doing well! I have a question that's been on mind since I started following the Q&A's like a maniac as a Ren fan. Someone previously had asked how Ren would feel (I can't remember if it was specifically in step 2 or not) if someone confessed to them in step 2 and you said they would be willing to date them because Ren would feel they would've accepted them in some way for trying to accept them (please, please correct me if I'm wrong!) but then there was a question asking how Ren would react if it was the MC and Ren would basically be embarrassed and asked them to forget about it, never talk about it and move on like it never happened. Why would Ren be okay with a Rando confessing and being willing to date them instead of the MC who may have potentially had feelings for them since the moment they met? Totally okay if this is a question you can't answer. It's just been killing me 😭 And then, my next question would be--would Qiu ever stop caring for Tamarack? Like if they saw her being bullied would he turn the other way and be like "not my problem" or would Qiu step in and be like "now wait a minute. No one really messes with this girl except for me." And then I suppose my last question would be, would Tamarack and Qiu care for each other or are they strictly "I tolerate you because MC likes you and that is all. We are not friends.". And I'm so so sorry but my last question. Very last! Do we see more Yusuf and Opal content after this update for people who have patreon without giving any spoilers because like?? Hello! This my first time ask and my native language isn't English so I hope I didn't mess up I have two question: 1. I have play the beta and it seems the newest beta already implemented that depends on how MC is like for Deferring/Teamworking/Contesting and the other two dynamics, it would affect how Qiu and Tamarack dynamics to MC will be in Step 2. So I wonder, is there any point different for each LI? For example, if you're Deferring towards Tamarack she will be Teamworking but if you're Deferring towards Qiu they will be Deferring too?? Or..? I'm intrigued with how the system or points work since it's also building the story! 2. I saw from previous Q&A that Serenity have turn on and off Crush on Qiu and Vianca have a Crush on Tamarack in Step 2. So, let's say the LIs have crush on MC. Like.. who's know who crushing who? Like for example, Vianca know Serenity have turn on and off crush on Qiu cause they are friends, she also know Qiu have crush on MC but Vianca doesn't know Tamarack have crush on MC too. I was reading through previous Q&A transcripts and came across the explanation of the hair/eye colour genetics rarity system which was super interesting to me! (In the Feb 2025 transcript for anyone else curious). I noted that in the explanation of the primary/secondary colour hair and eye combos that you said red is the rarest eye colour in the OL / XOXO universe. 1. So I’m wondering, how rare is Opal’s (and maybe MC if they get Opal’s colouring) cranberry eye colour? Does it fall on the red end of the spectrum that would be an unusual colour that people would take note of? Or would it be considered relatively more common as a purple? 2. In a similar train of thought… would red hair be considered a primary or secondary hair colour and how rare would red hair be, if red eyes are the rarest? And again, would cranberry hair be considered unusual or a more common colour? Also I wanted to say a big thank you to you and the team - playing the beta, the level of detail in OLNF completely blows my mind and the dialogue and descriptions are so well written it’s already made me emotional multiple times. There’s something about the OL games that just taps into the human experience and touches the soul, and I think that’s why they hold such a special place in my heart and why the games have such a dedicated fanbase! So yeah, thanks again to you and the team for all the hard work and passion that goes into your projects, it’s so clear playing your games that they really are labours of love!

Hi GB! I hope recovery is going well! Ever since I started playing the Baxter DLC at the end of May, I haven’t been able to get Mr. Monochrome out of my head. I have a few questions about him. (English isn’t my first language, so please excuse me if anything sounds strange!) 1. Baxter seems insecure about himself, but he never seems ashamed of wanting company or seeking out relationships, even short-term ones. I sometimes feel that needing other people means I’m not mature enough or don’t have enough of a life of my own. What do you think Baxter would think of this way of looking at things? 2. I noticed that 13-year-old Baxter’s smiles tend to be much more restrained. He doesn’t have the signature, big toothy smile that he has when he’s older. Is that because his family taught him to smile without showing his teeth? 3. In Step 3, Baxter seems very happy when he’s called “sir,” but in Step 4, he doesn’t react much to the same option. Does he no longer like being called “sir,” or does he still enjoy it but feel a little embarrassed or childish about showing it? 4. Would Baxter ever hit on someone? If so, how would he go about it? And if someone tried to hit on him with a cheesy line like, “Haven’t we met somewhere before?”, how would he react?

So, should we expect to see some Step 3 beta content as early as December, or will that likely be pushed back as well? 2. You’ve said that Ren knows that Qiu has a crush on MC. Is this because Qiu has told Ren upfront, or is it just something that she inferred from watching how Qiu acts around MC? 3.
