OL2: Beta Build 1.5.8 ✍️ (PC, Mac, Android)
A new beta build is ready! This has the first half of a brand-new Moment, Tested. Tested is a linked Moment, so it will notably change based on whether you do it before the other linked Moment, PJ Day, or after. Because only the first half is in the beta, it's not possible to fully play Tested first and then see the differences in PJ Day. But you can see the differences in Part 1 of Tested if you try playing it first thing as well as trying it after you've already completed PJ Day. Next month we'll have the full linked Moment experience for Step 2.

Screenshots can't be posted, videos can't be uploaded, even discussing what occurs in the events publicly is not allowed and will get your access to future builds revoked.
You can do all of those things within the private GB Patch Discord server or leave your feedback as a comment.

And since we've had some problems in the past with so many people downloading beta builds that they get locked out by Google Drive, I've uploaded mirror builds! If the first ones listed don't work, you can try these.

Or you can bypass the quota by logging in to a Google Drive account, then on the file's download page, click "Add shortcut to Drive" in the upper right corner. Save it to your Drive, then create a new folder, put it inside, and download the folder!
Save files from the prior beta should work in this beta!

QIU IS SO CUTE(also I love Qiu's name cuz my name also have the exactly the same character 秋, I can relate to their name so deeply)
There’s an odd glitch (?) in the PJ Day moment where, when asking Tamarack about our future along with the studying, she’ll only tell us how long we have to study but not our future. MC and Qiu will respond like she did say it when she didn’t. I don’t know if this is just a me issue though 🥲🥲
I know that this is much earlier but I figured I'd mention it anyhow- I noticed what feels like a strange decision art wise with Tama's cashews, as it almost seems to blend in with the bridge, and is in more of a sack than a plastic bag as the game states. I don't know if this was just a design choice but I wanted to mention it just in case.

Are you voting for the fundraiser to happen before the tests? If not, you get stuck on the Tested path. If you are voting for the fundraiser, it's possible the save file you're using is too old and won't work with more recent updates.

AAAAAA THE NOTE🥹😭 Also this is unrelated to this updated but usually I don't do the trans coming out because I didn't come out in highschool or realized that at that time either, so to do that I would have to wait Step 3/4 because since it's my self insert I want to be accurate to my life. However out of curiosity and because for Step 3/4 it will take some time I decided to actually do the transitioning at the start and coming out to them rather than having come out already and the way the story got so much more rich and different is compared to not being trans/nb (not that the cis story is bad, it's just as great, I played that as well given some of my OCs are cisgender) I just never expected how much I would have enjoyed that and how much things would change with that, the characters reaction, Vianca too, I can't even describe how much I started to like her once the coming out happened, at first I was kinda neutral and thought she wouldn't change her way of acting towards people until Step 3 or 4 but I swear, here if you come out as FtM is so wholesome and sweet and I love her so much now, I think she should do something similar if you come out as a girl but I don't know, I just know I love how you being a boy does change her way of seeing gender and how her friendship feels so different compared to when you are a cis girl, almost more genuine in a way. I'm so used to games not really addressing the good or bad of being trans/non-binary (emotionally speaking from the trans/non-binary person) and it just being a passing moment, having the chance to actually see it affect the people and story was so comforting, even the bad things like not having a bathroom to go to, it is bad but I like it's shown and how the characters think it's unfair. I never thought I would get so invested in it, I just can't explain it, but I love how it actually feels like it matters and it's not just a thing I get to mention once, as I rarely see it in games. I'm mostly making this because the new moment added obviously showed more of your character as trans and because the intro of Step 2 as well is completely different with the coming out in mind. The point is, it's just so great, it was honestly worth waiting a bit to play more of it all at once. If this is how good it is now I can't imagine Step 3 and 4 if I choose to come out.
I'm playing the trick or treat moment right now, and I think there's a small "glitch". We're supposed to be in Ren and Yusef's neighborhood, but it's still showing the cul de sac

So obviously I'm not imagining this to happen for a while but for those of us who chose a sports-related extra curricular (my character for example having signed up to join/tryout for the Basketball Team) will there be an actual full moment where we see that happen or will it mostly just be added flavour for our character?
Hellooo I hope the team will answer you, but from what I remember I think there will be at least one moment that is sport based (apart from the few we had in Study Day) and I have seen art related to this, like opal with sport supporter make-up, so my theory would be a sport championship where the sport that we practice would be put forward! Just a theory tho~

OH! i just wanna report something! (spoilers for the update!!!!!!!!) after you choose the reply "don't ask me that!" in the scene where the mc and qiu talk about their note after class, it states "Image 'qiu I down r down step2 smile mouth closed eyes normal brows' not found." on the screen where they say "i already know anyway." and onwards. it stays like that until they say "let's go." and they're suddenly just in their sweater until the next scene with ren where they have their coat again. i was replaying it over and over hehehe can't wait for the rest of the moment!!
