How would the LI feel about fans who express their attraction online/in person to a famous mc 2. You’ve said before that tamarack doesn’t speak German well and would like to if ever given the chance. Is it the same for you, because you have mentioned your mom is German. 3. How would the our life LI do in a Pilates class? Also this isn’t a question but i replayed OLBA and stayed in touch with Jeremy, and honestly, MC and jeremy would make a cute couple loll

1. How would Tam and Qiu react to an MC who did the Cove "coming through the window" move? Obviously, using a ladder. 2. How does Ren dye her hair? Does she go to a stylist, or just do it themself?

Hello, hello, and happy spring! 1.) The Suarez snack bag tradition was such a fun inclusion I’ve started doing it on real life road trips. Not necessarily the same snacks from that Step 2 spread, but if Cove and Baxter had the opportunity to assemble snack baggies, what kinds of things would they want to pack, and what would Derek pack for himself if his brothers weren’t on the trip? 2.) How would the Step 4 OLBA love interests react to or behave with their love interest wanting to take care of them while sick? 3.) In Baxter’s Step 4 DLC, it’s noted he has dance styles he’s very comfortable with and ones he’s less experienced with. What style of dance does Baxter struggle with most, and would he want to get better at it? 4.) What are Baxter’s favorite kinds of fish to eat? Are there any he doesn’t prefer? Thanks, GB and David!

Not sure if ive gotten in on time or if youve already started but how do you pronounce Qiu's name? Is it the traditional Chinese pronunciation or do they prefer to have it pronounced some other way?

1. With how flirtacious Qiu’s parents are, I’m surprised Qiu doesn’t have a sibling haha. Did they always plan to have only one child? 2. With Baxter being closeted until he left Golden Grove, if he has a romance with a male or nonbinary MC in Sunset Bird that he says his parents will find out about, does this mean he ever came out to them? Or did he just drop hints and throwaway mentions when he pleased?

Will Yusuf and Opal have any kind of relationship? sorry if this was asked before^^

hello, hope things are going well~ 1. Do Miranda and Terry plan on becoming parents? 2. Did Elizabeth date as a teenager, and if so would the family have been in the loop at all? Like would they have known ‘oh Elizabeth has a date tonight!’ or were any boys ever brought home and introduced? In other words, would she be able and willing to commiserate with MC over relationships at that age, esp if MC was especially down or bothered by something in their own dating life? 3. How often do you re-read ‘finished’ parts of OL2, like the prologue or Step 1 moments for example? 3b. Do you ever revisit or reference any of your older/finished games by reading through any parts of them?

I'm sorry if this has already been asked before or if it can't be answered at this point in development, but i have a question. A while ago I saw a screenshot not sure where but it was of Qiu in step 2 asking presumably MC if they where running away. I was wondering if this was part of a moment that was a wip, maybe just an idea scrapped or being used. Again if you can't answer due to any reasons I completely understand. Hii, after seeing Yusuf's gorgeous beard I was wondering if there might be a chance to have the option of giving the MC a beard in later steps. I imagine a younger MC seeing Yusuf as role model and wanting to grow up to be just like him (great beard included).

Hello GB and David, thank you for the Q&A sessions as always! Here are my questions: 1.) If MC became an actor/actress and had to do romantic scenes with a co-actor (like kissing or hugging) for a movie, how would Cove generally react to that like would he feel jealous or a little uncomfortable, or would he mostly understand that it’s just acting? Would he even watch any movies MC starred in? 2.) If MC eventually met their biological relatives from their parents’ home country from studying abroad there, (assuming their birthparents were from another country and moved to the US, MC being born shortly after) how do you think MC’s moms would react? Would they be skeptical or supportive? 3.) Kind of connected to the previous question, if MC and Cove got married, would Cove be open to inviting those relatives to the wedding? 4.) Again and hypothetically, if MC’s biological family in their ‘home country’ turned out to be extremely wealthy and gifted them a beach-front property or even a private island as a wedding present, how do you think Cove would react? Would he actually want to live somewhere like that, or would it feel too overwhelming for him? That is all! I always have a question and then instantly forget it when these questionnaires pop up. Anyway, nothing hard-hitting, but I am curious if the steps for OLNF will have titles like BA did rather than the generic Step 1, Step 2 that exists now.

Hello GB! Thank you for making amazing games, hope you're doing well. I have a few questions. 1. I played the Floret Bond beta recently. I understand that it was cancelled and so, I was wondering, why did Gata create the spell? and what exactly happened? 2. If there was a cameo of the Floret Bond characters in OL games (I saw an old poll on the patreon), would they be the same age as the MC, or older? Asking for fanfic/hc purposes 3. This one is about Xoxo Droplets, and we know Nate gets therapy after the story and I was wondering what made him realize he needs it, he seems pretty in denial about his problems (of course, good for him for doing that) 4. And to bring it back to OL (sorry for asking about older games so much hahah), what were your favorite moments to write in steps 1 and 2? Thank you so much for answering these!

hi gb and david :) i was wondering if you have any bands / songs your characters would like in your head? i'm especially curious about what kind of music tamarack and qiu listen to in step 2... but i also want to ask if there are just any songs or albums you associate with any of your characters/ games! sorry if that question is very vague :p

hii!! this is my first time sending a question!! hehe so excited (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) in the OLNF step 1 prologue, when the kids are talking about their favorite colors, when your relationship with qiu is crushes and you pick a color associated with tamarack he seems to get completely upset about it. like my favorite color is pink and he has the "negative" reaction and turns over at tamarack, yet when its a color like blue or something not associated to tamarack, he seems super stoked to learn that out about you and makes it a big deal. basically my question i, why does he have a reaction to colors that tamarack just so happens to be associated with? is it just because he wants the person he likes to have more stuff in common with him rather than another person, or does he just not like colors like pink, yellow ect.. thank you so much for your time!! hope you have a wonderful day!! 💗💗

Hi, hope you’re doing well! 1. Do Qiu and Tamarack see themselves having kids in their future, or do they not really think about that kind of stuff in steps 1 and 2? 2. Which of their parents are Tamarack and Qiu most similar to personality and appearance wise? 3. Does Pran dislike Qiu in step 1? 4. Are you going to make a bit of step 3 playable before step 2 is finished like what was done while working on step 1, or will you finish all of step 2 before starting to program step 3?

Hello, I hope the gb patch team is having a good month so far. Thank you for taking the time to do q&as each month. I love listening to them. What would be the Li’s from ol1 and ol2 favorite animal be? Did Qiu only do the one recital as the nutcracker or did they try again in between steps 1 and 2? I know by step two they stopped auditioning but I was curious if they did more than the one show. If the mcs’ from both olba and olnf looked the same, would Baxter mention it to olba mc?

hey hey, hope everybody on the team are doing well!! first q&a… kinda nervous guys… but these are purely questions to fuel my own oc storyline brainrot. 1. How would Cove react if you proposed in Step 3 and around Step 4 (like moved in together, solidifying and have gotten comfortable in adulthood) MC proposes to Cove again with a proper ring? Like a whole set up! That’s one of those things I wishhhed was featured in the game (I was jealous of the Step 4 proposals but I love the Step 3 proposal too much to let it go from Evim’s canon 😔). Do you think Cove would bawl as hard? Especially with the real ring on his finger now, ehe. 2. For no reason whatsoever, as you can say much, heh, would Opal ever have a matching jewelry set? With a partner, with her child, etc. What about Yusuf? I feel like Tamarack, Renee and Qiu are kind of obvious that they would if close enough? Unless? 3. LMAO, out of game territory, how would Opal react coming home to an MC that fully dyed their hair spontaneously? Like hair dye all over the bathroom counters. Really homemade. If they asked her straight up, would she be willing to help them dye it at home? (Like between Step 1-2, MC’s like 13 or 14) 4. Outside of the LIs from both games getting along, who would the OL1 boys be attached to in the OL2 cast NPC wise? I wonder if Yusuf and Derek would get along or Cove and Yi… For Baxter, did he prefer the Lins or the Murrays? Does it change for Step 4 Baxter? Thank you for answering the questions if you could!! Im such a big fan of olnf so far and wanted to know what sort of love language the characters have, like do they like physical touch, quality time etc. This question is mainly aimed at Qiu and tamarack however it can be placed on any one of the characters as Its an interesting one I think. :)

(: so i don’t even know if this is something you’ll be able to answer right now since step 4 is so far away, but it’s really just a silly question and it makes me giggle to think about. what would the vibe be like between Tam and Qiu in the poly relationship route, once they’ve entered into that relationship with the MC? since they’re adults at that point, would they be a little calmer and sweeter with each other? would they like to irritate each other? in my head currently they do their best to get on each other’s nerves literally always lol, but you’ve done such a good job writing them and their relationship to each other that anything is going to be fun to see. again, totally understand if you can’t really answer this right now!! thank you for doing these q&as, i love reading them at the end of the month (:

Like Serenity, Vianca, Ren and Baxter, and the grades could be answered as a rough estimate. 2. Who would be considered to be the most challenging character to write from both Our Life games?

Hi, I just wanted to quickly say thank you for these games. They've been important to me ever since I started playing when I was 18, and I'm now 23 which feels significant to me. They've helped me through some really hard times. Anyway, my actual questions now. Apologies if they've been asked before. 1) We see that Baxter grows out of his black-and-white only look by step 4, but I noticed he still only ever wears monochromatic outfits (which is hilariously adorable), is that intentional on his part or does he just naturally gravitate towards single-hue looks? 2) This one I would understand you not being able to answer but I've been wondering lately what kinds of clothes Qiu and Tamarack would want to wear to their weddings, dress/suit/jumpsuit etc. I personally think they'd both look stunning in any of those options, frankly, but I wanna know what styles they'd each prefer. Sorry my questions are so long, thank you for your time~ XO

Hello everyone. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) My first question is, are there any moments in OL2 you've been particularly excited writing about, or are excited to write about? I understand that creating this game for you is work, and not the same as having fun playing it, but were there some scenes in particular you've especially enjoyed writing, or some scenes you look forward to writing? Or is most of it just the same for you? Another question that is directly related to the previous one - what about the Step? Taking Step 3 & 4 out of the equation as they're not written yet, was Step 1 or Step 2 more fun to write for? Last question. It was my birthday recently, and it got me thinking. What would Qiu and Tammy like to do on their own birthdays in Step 3? If you can't answer that considering the lack of a script for Step 3, then what about Step 2? Thanks for all the hard work, the game is very comforting. Truly can't wait for the full release!

Hello, first time asking. My friends and I were reading Our Life: Beginnings & Always on twitch and have been asking the same thing since Step 1. What is it that the Holden family (and Kyra) does to look so fine at all points of their lives?

I've been wondering about the holidays cuz I know there was one point during the magic scene in the game where Autumn talked about a Chinese holiday that's in fall so I was wondering if there's a holiday for Tamarack but she celebrates with her family since they're German I'm just wondering if those holidays will ever be included for DLC and I hope that they can be added because I'm actually really excited for that these are just some of the ideas I would have and I'm wondering what those be able to be incorporated it's not me asking if things will be added in the game I'm just wondering if it's possible

Hiiii I love your OL games <3 I only have one question for you! In OL2, if you play the moments in a different order than what’s originally laid out, will that change dialogue/story aspects at all? I’m not sure if my wording makes the most sense, sorry!
