OL2: Beta Build 1.5.5 💪 (PC, Mac, Android)

Hey, for some reason the beta build ends right after voting in the second moment, thus not being able to play the second part of PJ Day. Is there a reason why?

Unsure why, but the game automatically ends after the voting in the PJ Day. Or was that supposed to happen?

hi there! i dont know if this has already been reported or if its supposed to happen, but if you play the PJ day moment while being neighbors with Tamarack and/ot Qiu and then choose to be friends again, it doesnt change your relationship with the two at all. i noticed that when i chose to do PJ Day before Assistance.

Hey I check this with every update, but a character that is maximum surly and mean in Step 1 will still be read that way in Step 2 even if you try and pick the nicest options in the prologue. Same as opposite. It seems no matter how mean I try to be. It seems like personality and attitude can't change if you are taking the opposite approach.

I don’t know what happened but I started step 2 and at the part where you pick out clothes with your mom, qiu and tamarack, qiu’s whole body is missing and it’s just his eyes and mouth. Is there a place I can send a screenshot?

Lastly, adding this (Spoilers in case some of you still didn't play it and want to find those things yourself): Assistance has two different things that can happen with Qiu (if romancing them and you want to see a bit more romance) but I'll start with my "least favorite" and my favorite. If you have a crush on Qiu and are BFF (I don't know if when you develop a crush on Qiu affects things, I kept the magic moment for last and got my MC to get a crush on them ONLY in the magic moment, also keep it a secret), you go out without your mother to look for them, try to not cry and then break down in Baxter car Qiu will say "I love you" but very likely meant not as a confession and it gets ignored by your MC or everyone else there (which is really sweet and I love how Qiu said that, but I definitely prefer the other one because it's more emotional) then there's the version where you play PJ first, win Dodgeball (you can win even if you're not sporty and on Qiu and Tam team) and kiss Qiu on the cheek. Qiu in assistance will make an attempt to kiss you under the rain before stopping themself, which I think is a bit more impactful than them saying I love you, very much appreciated to hear that from Qiu, don't get me wrong, It's just that this almost kiss under the rain feels more emotional, spontaneous, angsty and romantic all at once.

I think I found a bug, after the game as soon as Qiu is shown back in their Pajamas they are shown with the eye mask on, definitely funny as a bug though given it says stuff like "they raise their eyebrow" but nothing can be seen XD Unless that was actually intentional and I just didn't read that.

Don't know if it's a bit late to say this, but during the volleyball sequence after nodding at qiu and tamarack -> hiding behind the crowd -> caught, "Vianca dove into the fray. She scooped up the weapon and sent it flying. It had a real spin to it. Her throw bumped another person off the opposing team" plays twice (one before MC gets out and one after.)

If you play against tam and qiu and qiu is the last one standing, the text calls them her.

Hi! i dont know what i did, but after a couple of runs of the last beta my olnf just refuses to load and really lags my whole computer? i was hoping i could just download the new beta and it would fix itself, but no such luck. do you know what i can do to save all my progress of my ocs in there?

Is this the full PJ Day moment or 2 parts out of 3?

Qiu's hair glitches in the dodgeball scene, a chunk of it is missing

Hi! I don't know if its a bug but in the intro in the scene where they go find their lockers sometimes Tamarack says we are locker neighbors and Qiu slams the locker and says that one is now his, in another scene Qiu says his locker is not there and in another scene Qiu slams his hand before Tamarack sais the locker neighbors thing. I just replayed the scene making the same choices and got different outcomes

not sure if it's supposed to happen or not, but my relationship with tamarack was neighbour. at the end in the computer room, i chose that we've become friends again, but our relationship didn't change so it's still just neighbours and not friends. again, not sure if that's something that's supposed to happen but just adding it if it is!

A bit late but i loved this beta update and omg THE CHOICES AAAH you get an option to give Qiu and Tammy a kiss after dodgeball! and if you play pj day before assistance lets just say Qiu makes a move in the rain scene 😚 my heartt 😳😳

I don't know if this is a bug or if I'm misunderstanding it, but during dodgeball my character gets knocked out before Tamarack, and when she's knocked out the next line of text says "That was painful for Tamarack, but it had to happen sometime. If she didn't lose, how would you show how amazing you were?" (This MC doesn't have a crush on her either) and then it's followed up by "No! You nearly fell over. This loss was too difficult to bear" and then Vianca dives into the fray and it goes on until Qiu is the last kid standing so it does note my MC as "out" which is why I'm not sure if I'm just misreading the above lines of text implying my MC is still in the game and trying to impress Tamarack.

A few minor issues in dodgeball. When another character makes a last stand, it implies they are alone even if the MC is still in the game. Also, if you choose to protect Qiu or Tamarack and they get knocked out early, the text still implies you're still trying to protect them, even though they aren't in the game anymore. That said, I really like that sequence and how complicated it is. Took me a while to get through a lot of the possibilities(I'm not sure I got all of them yet). Really just in general lots of good stuff added since last month.

Not sure how but I managed to get the phone menu stuck in the middle of my screen. Probably my own fault since I was exploring some of the different choice branches... Regardless great update!

I upgraded to a pc from this old laptop I had, so i have to restart from the beginning. Not that you'll find me complaining, it's nice to get a fresh new start on a fresh new build <3

I have a crush on Baxter but the option isn't popping up to choose him

The Ren, Baxter and Devin options to say you had a crush on in the PJ Day screenshots aren't in the beta. Were they removed or is my game bugged?

- there's a clipping issue with qiu's side sprite at one point during the dodgeball game, where it seems their regular sprite is showing up on it? my qiu has long hair and both accessories. - text uses 'your team' for the side opposing qiu, even though my mc and qiu were on the same team.

Through one of my playthroughs, I encountered a bug(???) which makes the MC's phone stay on screen throughout the rest of the PJ Day moment after Tamarack texted my MC "Sorry, I have no choice". ^^

Hi! I never really comment but I do want to say before I leave feedback that I'm having a lot of fun with the beta! It is always exciting when an update is dropped. That is also to say I have a bug report: When Qiu asks both tam and mc what their gender prefs are in pj day, mc has internal response to tam saying her pref that says she is mc's crush but in my playthrough they are only best friends. Just wanted to bring awareness to this bug if there isn't any already. Keep up the good work! ❤️

every time i try to play it, it just gives me the "thank you" screen instead of continuing the story, so i can't play

Do you have to redownload the new version even after you already have the game installed? For the updated stuff to apply?
