OLNF Major Demo Update Out Now! 🍂
It's here! Our Life: Now & Forever has gotten a significant update to its free demo. More childhood wonder and teenage angst await 😄.
This might be only a demo, but it has a massive script of 256,000 words (the version before was 161,000 words). Of course, it's not 256k straight through. There are that many words because there's so many alterations within the story based on your personality, relationships, and choices. You'll hopefully have fun playing not only once, but multiple times!

The content that was already in the demo was: the full Step 1 prologue, the Step 1 Moments "Walks" and "Wheels", and a small preview of the Step 2 prologue.

I would just like to say hello I'm new to this story I have played your first game but I'm confused with gender qiu is I'm sorry if that's offensive I just can't tell
Qiu is genderfluid non-binary! But in Step 1 Qiu doesn't realize that about themself and in Step 2 Qiu know they're not a boy but hasn't figured out what gender they do have.
I have a question, it's probably me somehow missing this (I have the most recent Beta Build) but how do I get the scene of Qiu at the diner? Is it just to show it or is it actually in the game?
You have to choose to go to the diner and decide to only invite Qiu to go with you! It happens near the end of the Step 2 prologue.
Hello! The choice tracking system doesn’t seem to be working for me, is this a know bug or am I doing something wrong?. I finished all the public demos content then started a new game. Thank you all for your hard work!! 🙏🏻
There's a setting in the preference section to turn that feature on or off, so maybe it got set to off? Also, did you make any save files? If you play content but never save it, the system can't store your choices. Sorry for the trouble!

I was gonna comment this last night because it's really funny but playing through the updated stuff after work prevented me from joining this Patreon until now. So, hi. I just got into Our Life: Beginnings And Always 4 days ago. I got the DLCs for adding more moments to Steps 1-3 as well as getting the wedding DLC. I fell in love so fast. I finished it, wedding included yesterday. Then, I started the Now & Forever demo. I finish it and go to work. While on break at work near the end of my shift, I find out that the demo just got updated so I went from being disappointed yet satisfied in the fact that I wish there was more to it while also being happy with what there was. To.. well, being able to excitedly get back into it. I would also like to mention that going through the wedding DLC has inspired me. I will be writing an extensive wedding arc for the stories I write now, taking elements directly from what I chose to occur via the wedding DLC. Now this is quite the intro to being a part of this Patreon.. Im betting the full game size is over a million words. Actually, Im certain about that.

Wait, does this mean that the end of Step 2’s Assistance in the Beta was the ACTUAL end of the step? Usually I’ve seen full steps be released in 3 updates, not two, so I didn’t realize this.
It's not the end of the Step. Step 2 has a lot more content, this is only a little preview!

Yep! There's small fixes, but no content that hasn't already been carefully tested by beta players.

The beta has all the content in the demo plus more. You don't really need the demo if you have the beta.
