OL2: Beta Build 1.4.22 🍂 (PC, Mac, Android)
It's beta day! Sorry it's coming so late, there were bugs to fix today and my internet didn't want to work. But it's here now and you can play Part 1 of a Step 2 Moment. I think it's quite nifty. You'll be able to see even more how there's similarities and differences in your OL2 experiences being a child in Step 1 and being a teen in Step 2. Assistance could almost be considered a sequel to one of the Step 1 Moments 😲.

Screenshots can't be posted, videos can't be uploaded, even discussing what occurs in the events publicly is not allowed and will get your access to future builds revoked.
You can do all of those things within the private GB Patch Discord server or leave your feedback as a comment.

And since we've had some problems in the past with so many people downloading beta builds that they get locked out by Google Drive, I've uploaded mirror builds! If the first ones listed don't work, you can try these.

Or you can bypass the quota by logging in to a Google Drive account, then on the file's download page, click "Add shortcut to Drive" in the upper right corner. Save it to your Drive, then create a new folder, put it inside, and download the folder!
Save files from the prior beta should work in this beta!

THAT CLIFFHANGER HURRRRRRTTTTT oh my gosh. It was so nice to see Qiu feel less pressured, dance the way they want with MC, no expectations for perfection. Them goofing off with saying "my beloved Rat-Mouse King" SAHHHHH43FFEWDHIBJ they were so happy playing around, only for Baxter to ruin it. AGHHHHHHH IT HURTS. I wanna know why Baxter looked to MC again at the end- I wonder if he's gonna be in the same show or something? DEBWIDFHBHI2E Also-a question: Would we be able to get more save slots?

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! i finally had the free time to play this and omg ITS SO GOOD??????? the different scenes with qiu after ballet were so fun, i can't choose which one's my favourite!! and i keep giggling at qiumc's dynamic they're so damn cuuuute omg😭😭😭 also i'm not sure if this is the correct place to report this and maybe it's just me, but after you beat qiu in the sword fight and choose a choice, it gives a syntax error and ignoring it takes you straight to the scene with baxter. i hope i didn't break it on my end somehow😭

the cliffhanger was diabolical BUT i wanna ask- there’s a moment right before we get to the dance hall where there mc sees their reflection in the windows, followed by three dots. my question is - are we going to get an option menu of figuring out how the mc feels about how they look, like we did in OL1?
I hope we get something like this! Hopefully with the callbacks in later steps too, where the mc reflects on how they used to feel.

Aside from how great the story and art and how (I love every single atom of this game thank you so much for making it), it's so amazing how y'all managed to do the saves where we get to just keep going even in different builds ☺️

You don't have to transfer them. Just download the new build and your saves will be registered by it.
