OL2: Choice Tracking Feature!
I'm excited to announce that Our Life: Now & Forever has a new feature! Shawna has created a system that tracks choices you've made in prior playthroughs and shows which character made that choice! It's super cool and convenient.
You just turn it on in the new settings screen (I showed a preview of that last week) and then look for the little star next to choices (on Android you'll need to press and hold the choice to get the character info since you can't hover over it with a mouse). Amazing ✨
This is already available in the beta build. When the demo is updated in fall, all players will be able to try it out.
This system can't track playthroughs that happened before the feature was added. So, any beta or demo save file you did prior won't be counted. However, any future playthroughs in the beta or the updated demo will keep being tracked even in the finished game.

Wait that's so cool!!! I'm actually replaying OL1 right now and thought that it would be super cool to see which options we chose before when replaying the game (though in my head it would be like in some other VN's, when the previous choices are coloured or greyed out, but the current feature is also cool!!)

I like this a *lot*. I replay these games over and over, with very different characters that I tend to design with individual personalities and backstories. (I have to, otherwise I'd only ever self-insert and I'd see a tiny fraction of the game.)

It'd be a bit spoilery I guess but It'd also be kinda cool to have a sort of timeline or so for your character. So you can look back and see how things changed, when they changed, etc. Could be a lot of fun, especially if you could hide the relationship setting on stage transitions. Go back and see how your character changed as they grew and you played!
