OL2: Step 1 VA Casting Call Open!
Hey everyone!
Starting today and ending after May 9th, we've got a casting call open for the four child characters in Step 1. So, Qiu, Tamarack, Ren, and Baxter. You can check out all the details on our website-
The adults who appear in Step 1 won't get VAs until much later on. I want to have all their lines planned first and the adults will keep the same voice from Step 1 through to Step 4.
Good luck to anyone who tries out! And thank you for those who'd be willing to play Qiu or Tamarack considering there's an absurd 1,655 voiced names to do, haha.

Auditioned for Qiu!! As someone who's ethinically chinese and faced the same delimma w/ my gender growing up I really really hope I get the role, I adore them so so much!

I'd love to try giving my voice to any of them, but as a woman with a lower and little hoarse voice I don't really know if it would fit, and if it does, wHO am I trying. Maybe bexter or Ren? maybe.
How do we add a name to be voiced? Or is it not possible to add any?

Dang it, I'd love to voice Tamarack, but after recording myself a few times I've realized my voice does not go nearly high enough T^T It could maybe fit Qiu but I'm not Chinese and I don't wanna butcher the poor baby. Maybe I'll try for the future steps
god it would be so much fun to be baxter but my voice doesn’t fit at allllll 💔 he’s my absolute fav

Awww I'd love to do a voice but I kinda have an old lady voice even tho im 23 so so Tammy voice acting for me i guess T-T I'll be back for granny tho since I'm also german and im old on the inside hehe :3

How many voiced names were there in OL1? Then again, it was just one character's voice, with a number of versions of these voiced names, depending on the emotion the character had at the time. It's going to be a lot of time in the VO booth. 😱😊

As I asked for the Q&A I was curious about their voices and seeing this is just amazing, I'll ne honest I would love to do this but I am no Voice actor and my pronunciation would clearly be Italian which doesn't fit any of the characters XD

As someone who just wants to support the GP Patch team and play the game, I feel like it’d be very weird and awkward to hear my own voice as one of the voice actors, but I wonder if that’s just me! Like of course, it’s a role and you’d be playing a character but hearing my own voice in game would just throw me out of the setting… Good luck to everyone!
