Not the way I immediately teared up because this made me remember the first time I saw my mom seriously cry. Uuuggghhhh I think this is shaping up to be my favorite moment in step 1 which is wild because a lot of them are so good. I really appreciate the in-depth focus on MC's family dynamics and not being afraid to touch on the struggles of being raised by a single parent. I can't wait to see how it can develop as the game continues because I have different MCs with wildly different opinions on Opal and being moved to Golden Grove.
