OL2: Beta Build 1.4.8 👻 (PC, Mac, Android)
Halloween has come early! This beta is specifically Trick or Treat Part 2. We're hoping to have a double update this month with that Step 2 expansion beta at the very end of October. Though, Tamarack's Step 2 intro scene got an improvement this time around. You can now see her finished CG 😄
Also, there's a needed nighttime background that's incomplete, so I just used a rainy day version of the location as a stand-in.

And since we've had some problems in the past with so many people downloading beta builds that they get locked out by Google Drive, I've uploaded mirror builds! If the first ones listed don't work, you can try these.

Or you can bypass the quota by logging in to a Google Drive account, then on the file's download page, click "Add shortcut to Drive" in the upper right corner. Save it to your Drive, then create a new folder, put it inside, and download the folder!
Save files from the prior beta should work in this beta!

Alright, have a fun holiday adventure! We've got seven Moments down (besides small edits and suggestions, of course). More than half of the Moment set for Step 1 is playable.

So life's been busy and I just managed to finish playing the rest of the Halloween moment, and I've gotta say..... I wanna marry someone who looks at me the way Hong looks at Yi THEY'RE SO FLIRTY AND CUTE WHAT THE HECK-

Oh, I didn't expect an update so soon! It was nice! Funny how Qiu commented on Tam and my MC being brave, but my MC isn't really that brave... he just likes monsters, creatures and other stuff! So in a funny way, he was more at ease during halloween than when interacting with people on a daily basis. I mean, he WAS dressed up as a werewolf and did want to play the mouse king at least outside of the stage, in the ballet classes!
My sorceress was like that. Shy but Autumn always sticks up for her, so she dressed as the sorceress he accused her of being when they first met and pretended to be brave for a night.

A bit of an error: When Qiu tells the spooky story about your 'haunted' house, there's a choice that says you'll never step foot into Tamarack's house again. That choice just doesn't make sense with the context.
Did Qiu tell a story about your house? It is possible for the scene to be talking about Tamarack's house or your house, so I'm not entirely sure what you mean.
This was painfully cute and sweet. I love Mrs. Lin lighting up at the idea of seeing her husband like 5 minutes after leaving the house, and Franky being like "oh, yeah, she probably loves him." And Mr. Lin wanting to marry her again. They are just too cute. And of course Mrs. Lin's wisdom at the end.
I cant wait to install this when i get in, been excited for this all monthhh

I'm really sorry! Sometimes a new build changes stuff and it makes old saves non-transferable.

The Halloween moment escaping its 31st confines like actual Halloween, is something I can only get behind. (Also, you can enjoy WAY more horror movies for the whole month)
Yusuf is very kind although getting a scare at least a little one at Halloween is kinda expected :) unless its known that the child genuinely dislike it:)
What a pleasant surprise this was! Small error report: If you say "How come you're not trick or treating" to Ren, it seems the game fails to load in the sprite successfully, just displaying some text at the bottom of the screen instead. Nothing that breaks the game, just a little oddity.
