OL2: Tamarack Bedroom Concept Art Sketches
Here are the concepts that were created for Tamarack's childhood room! Option A is what ended up in the game.
And there's an extra bonus piece I can share. Originally, this background was created with nice daytime lighting. However, I realized I wanted the scene after Qiu's ballet practice to be in the evening. So, you only see her room with a cozy sunset lighting in the story. If you were wondering about what the colors were like without the tinting, now you know!

i'm late but i've always loved her bedroom!
The background with the sunlight is so stunning I'm in love
Ahhh the first time I actually like one of the concepts more that the finalized background! I really love concept B, but I still like the real one, both of them fit Tamarack!
I love the pretty vintage vibe to her room, it’s fit for a princess! :3
I adore this room so much, it feels so real I can practically feel the old fabrics and stiff lace lol
I have to remember to quit doing speed runs (or at least to slow down to take in the backgrounds) to get a new MC up to speed to play new Moments. There's so many beautiful backgrounds to appreciate like this throughout the game. 😁
A room fitting for a princess
Her room is so nice
I didn’t think her bedroom could get any prettier durning the evening but I did when it’s in daylight
OUHH, the concepts are really nice!! It’s always so fun to see how things started vs ended up. 🫶
